Communication
Two-way process of reaching mutual understanding, in which
participants not only exchange (encode-decode) information, news,
ideas and feelings but also create and share meaning. In general,
communication is a means of connecting people or places. In business,
it is a key function of management--an organization cannot operate
without communication between levels, departments and employees.

Business communication is the sharing of information
between people within and outside the organization
that is performed for the commercial benefit of the
organization. It can also be defined as relaying of
information within a business by its people.
It can also refer to internal communication that takes
place within an organization.

 Communication is the most important of our social activities.
 All Communication has five clearly identifiable features :
 It is meaning – based.
 It is conventional (common means).
 It is appropriate.
 It is interactional.
 It is structured.
