Types Of Thinking From Point Of Reference And Relationship
Regimens from point of reference and relationship are two focal types of thinking found in numerous
legitimate frameworks, particularly CommonLaw frameworks, for example, those in England and the
United States. Point of reference includes a prior choice being followed in a later case in light of the
fact that both cases are the same. Relationship includes a prior choice being followed in a later case on
the grounds that the later case is like the prior one. Contentions from point of reference and
relationship are normal for legitimate thinking. Lawful thinking contrasts in various routes from the
kind of thinking apply by people in their ordinary lives. It much of the time apply contentions that
people don t apply or that people apply in diverse ways. Point of reference is a decent sample of this.
In individual thinking we don t regularly respect the way that we chose one path in the past as raising
some assumption that we ought to choose the same route later on. Obviously there can be exceptional
circumstances that have this impact 2somebody may have depended on what we did some time
recently, or may have had their desires raised that we would do as such once more yet missing these
unique contemplations we don t view ourselves as being submitted later on to settle on the same
choice. It is constantly open to us to rethink a choice and alter our opinions on the off chance that we
no more think our unique judgment was right. Law obviously is not the only one in

World Trade Center Reflection
The terrorist attack on the World Trade Center changed American citizens lives forever. On September
11, 2016 some people risked their lives to save others, others experienced the terror, and many had to
watch the tragedy unfold. This day brought American citizens together, when people needed it the
most.
Immediately, after the brutal attack every mode of transportation was closed and people were trying to
find a way out of Manhattan. Average people were stepping up to save the people that were stranded.
Most New Yorkers last thought would be to get on a boat, but people were now packed on every
square inch of surface possible. After, one of the boaters called out for all available boats to come help
evacuate citizens from lower Manhattan. There were more than one hundred boats from everywhere
came in no time. Vincent Ardolino s thoughts when helping others was, One person less that will
suffer and die. This truly shows how Americans can come together and do what s morally right. One

William Shakespeare s A Midsummer Night s Dream, Julius...
The Use of Structure in a Shakespearean Play:
Structure in Henry the V
Authors use structure in their written or performed pieces of work to further the reader or viewer s
understanding of the plot, to illuminate and widen the perception of a certain text. This is so in the
case of Shakespeare and his many plays; Shakespeare makes incredibly meticulous use of the
structure and order in which the events occur to more specifically make the point he is anticipating the
reader to grasp. Many authors do this, but Shakespeare deserves a closer look, as he is one of the most
famous, if not the most famous, classic literature artist who understood this concept broadly. A
Midsummer Night s Dream, Julius Caesar, and Hamlet all display Shakespeare s understanding of the
rhythm of events that contribute to the overall understanding of a piece of work. Moreover, Henry V is
a play that does this with a magnanimity of eloquence, in which Shakespeare arranges the speeches,
wars, and comedy in a perfect chronological order to please the reader. Most of Shakespeare s work
ends in the protagonist, depending on how many there are, tragically dying and leaving the reader or
viewer motionless, irritated at the fact that the story will not go on with that character. Henry the V is
different in this aspect because the play leaves the reader very satisfied, they have experienced the
building up of certain characters, they have experienced suspense, a climax with the highest form of
action,

Jenny Sullivan s First Love
The poem First Love by Mick Gowar describes the affect that first love has. Rejection by Jenny
Sullivan details the shame that rejection brings.
The title First Love links to a sense of naivety and innocence. It suggests that the poem may be
romantic and meaningful.
On the other hand, the title Rejection instantly signifies a negative atmosphere and implies that the
poem may be an elegy, as it could be exploring the darker, more sorrowful side of one s mind.
Whilst the poems share some similarities, they do not have many ideas or themes in common. First
Love includes themes such as desperation and naivety. These can be identified throughout the poem.
Desperation is particularly evident in the second stanza with the exclamative Please! and the use of
short phrases. The short phrases including Like you suggested. And ... Show more content on

These themes help create a reflective mood with the feeling of shame also prevalent. This poem seems
to be challenging popular belief as the first line is Rejection is orange . This is shocking as one would
usually assume rejection to be grey and nondescript . Isolation is highlighted here, as it suggests that
they stand out, thus making them feel alone, a point which is repeated a couple of lines later, in which
they describe themselves as a council worker s jacket . This point is where I began to sense a link to
mental illness as the jacket is used to represent a public symbol of shame, much like the way mental
illness is viewed in society. This idea is illuminated again in the last quatrain where they describe
themselves as feeling slightly leftover after all the guests/have gone. This links back to the theme of
isolation and also links to the ideas of low self worth and mental illness. Paranoia can also be
identified through descriptions of people whispering behind my back , this again links to mental
illness as many sufferers attempt concealing

The Relationship Between Gender And Power In A Streetcar...
The relationship between gender and power in A Street Car Named Desire
In the play A Streetcar Named Desire, author Tennessee Williams creates a strong relationship
between gender and power, and asserts that when both are unchecked and combined a force is created
which leads people to have no remorse while pursuing their desires. When the four main characters of
the play interact we see how this force is detrimental to the weaker characters. Being both immensely
masculine and powerful causes Stanley to torment the other main characters while chasing what he
wants. While Blanche possesses a domineering personality she is not masculine meaning society does
not grant her the same level of power Stanley possesses, allowing him to triumph over her. Mitch is
masculine but does not boast enough confidence to be powerful, and is therefore bullied and
manipulated by Stanley. As Stella is neither masculine nor confident and powerful, she falls victim to
repeated physical and emotional abuse by Stanley. With his overly masculine and domineering
personality, Stanley is a prime example of a top ranking alpha male. If his authority is challenged, he
responds violently to reinforce his position as the superior being. Williams depicts Stanley as an
extremely macho man who enjoys heartiness with men, his drink and food and games, his car, his
radio, everything that is his, that bears his emblem of the gaudy seed bearer (Sc. 1, P. 16) and is the
commander of his household. Additionally,

My Personal Life On My Life
Priorities When I began to contemplate the possibility to go back to school, I knew I had to make
some major changes in my personal life in order to make school a priority. I don t tend to go out to
social events often, because I prefer to relax in my place, spend time with my family and go shopping.
However, one day I was invited to an event and from that event, a lot of other events followed. I
became part of a social group that constantly were doing different activities all the time. Facebook and
Instagram crawled in, and I was spending too much of my time, trying to keep up with everything that
was going on. I knew that if I wanted to make school a priority, I had to separate myself from all the
unnecessary social events, the people I was surrounding myself with, and social media. Why? Because
I tend to get distracted easily and at this moment of my life, school is my number one priority.
Professionally, I had to make a couple of changes in my job regarding volunteer work that I was
doing, which was taking my time and energy. I spoke to my boss, and informed her that I was not able
to continue doing the extra volunteer activities, that I was doing. By doing this, I made my academic
school work a priority. Academically, I know I will be faced with a lot of barriers, for example,
disappointments, discouragement, anxiety, and fear of not being able to keep up with all the school
responsibilities a college student faces. One of the things that I will be doing to work

Analysis Of Invisible Man
To be exiled means to be kept from one s native space or country. In the book, Invisible Man, The
nameless narrator started off bound for greatness and then as the novel continued he to be challenged
with obstacles as he discovered his true self. Through these obstacles he was pushed farther and
farther away from the places he learned to call home and had to forget everything he knew to survive.
As a young black men the narrator stayed very true to who he was and wished to be a very successful
scholar. He got a scholarship for an African American college and was lucky enough to be able to go;
however, halfway through his schooling due to power hungry and egotistical Dr. Bledsoe, the narrator
was expelled because he showed one of the school founders around dirtier parts of town. This college
was a place the narrator considered home and was exiled from it leaving him with only 50 dollars and
envelopes filled with false hope.
It is very easy to be taken over by fear and hopelessness when you are thrown from somewhere you
have spent the most recent parts of your life to a completely different area where you know nothing
and no one. Instead of holing up and showing his fear the narrator showed up to Harlem with a
positive mindset and portrayed himself as a man who knew what he planned on doing with his life
when he got there; however, he was just clinging to letter which held nothing but lies. He used his
expulsion to enter a new place as a very sophisticated young man and

Benchmarking Lmdb And Leveldb For Deep Learning
Benchmarking LMDB and LevelDB for deep learning
Weiyue Wang
ABSTRACT
Deep learning is a new emerging area of machine learning research, which has been shown to produce
state of the art results on various tasks. A high performance database management in deep learning
framework will help increase learning efficiency. This work compares the performance of two key
value data storage, Lightning Memory Mapped Database (LMDB) and google LevelDB, for deep
learning framework. Our key findings are followings. 1.Introduction
Deep Learning (DL) has been shown to outperform most traditional machine learning methods in
fields like computer vision, natural language processing, and bioinformatics. DL seeks to model high
level abstractions of data by constructing multiple layers with complex structures, which compose of
hundreds millions of parameters to be tuned. For example, a deep learning structure for processing
visual and other two dimensional data, convolutional neural network (CNN) [1], which consists of
three convolutional layers and three pooling layers, has more than 130 millions of parameters if the
input has 28x28 pixels. While these large neural networks are powerful, we need high amount of
training data. DL tasks need considerable data storage and memory bandwidth.
Key value stores provide users simple yet powerful interface to data storage, which are often used in
complicated systems. [2] LMDB is a framework that provides high performance key value storage

Good morning class of 2016 , I m Nichaela Hoffman and I am running for Senior Class President.
What I can contribute as senior class president is a reliable person who peers can trust that their voices
will be heard and put into accountability. As president I will make sure our senior year is a year to
remember. My goal is to be a president that my class can come to for advice and for anything they
want to see during their senior year. I m not going to be a president who will promise all theses ideas,
which will end up as broken promises. I plan to have ideas that can actually go into effect. Such as

Analysis Of On Liberty
On Liberty is an essay composed by a man named J.S. Mill who talks about the different types of
liberty given to individuals. The novel in divided up into five chapter stating different liberties or
responsibilities that makes someone a responsible self. There is no real definition of what could be
considered a responsible self but all the duties one has is what composes this person into what Mill
believes one should be. These responsibilities are first to oneself, to others, and finally to society as a
whole.
The responsibilities to oneself are vast and many depending on what the individual wants to consider
as responsibilities. The person must be in tune with all that is happening inside his world so he may
grow. Individuality, is a huge part of a person because it shapes not only his personality but his life. It
is the duty to himself for once he reaches maturity he is to use what he has learned and interpret it to
his beliefs. He learns about traditions and customs from others but may interpret differently, not
suitable to him, or do not educate or develop him (55 56). He must develop a strong character with his
own impulses and desires that has been created and fixed by his culture. The individual must make
sure to take in to account what he prefers before what others want him to do (58). Conformity is also
another duty to oneself, since it is what makes him stand out among the rest. A person can only have
the chance of becoming himself again, is when his eyes

Essay The Psychodynamic Approach
The psychodynamic approach focuses on individuals who behave in a certain way due to having
emotional feelings buried deep inside their unconscious mind. The theory was developed by Sigmund
Freud who was a psychologist. The use of the psychodynamic approach within health and social care
helps individuals understand and support patients who are undergoing the psychodynamic process as it
is generally used around the world. This essay aims to show my understanding of the approach and the
ways health and social care workers could apply the theory to a health and social care setting. By
explaining what psychodynamic counselling is and how it helps individuals it shows how I am able to
identify the solutions to the problems.

It is the part that makes people obey the rules and that makes them behave the way they do. It judges
people, criticizes them, and makes them feel guilty when they do something incorrect. It is what
makes people feel guilty and ashamed, it is their inner judge. It is the part of personality which holds
all of individual s ideals that are required from parents and society (individual s sense of right and
wrong). The Super Ego provides guidance in creating judgments. Freud had stated that the Super Ego
starts to appear at age five.
There are two parts of the Super Ego: * The Ego Ideal this involves the rules and standards for good
behaviour. These behaviours consist of those which are permitted by parental and other authority
figures. Following these rules leads to feelings of pride, value and achievement
* The Conscience consists of details about things that are thought of being bad by parents and society.
These sorts of behaviours are regularly not allowed and lead to bad consequences, punishments or
feelings of guilt and remorse.
The Superego s purpose is to act and improve the behaviours of individuals. It operates to suppress all
inappropriate urges which comes from the id and struggles to make the ego act upon the idealistic
standards rather than upon realistic principles. The Superego is present in the conscious, preconscious
and unconscious.
The Id, Ego and Super Ego are functions of the mind

Domestic Policies Of Thomas Jefferson, William Harding,...
The domestic policies of Thomas Jefferson, William Harding, Calvin Coolidge, and Ronald Reagan
varied greatly as they were set forth during different time periods. Firstly, Thomas Jefferson wanted a
government that would respect the power of individual states, operate with a smaller bureaucracy, and
cut its debts. He believed that the government would stimulate the growth of agriculture and therefore
bolster the economy. William Harding, who was president from 1921 to 1923, supported the
Immigration Quota Act of 1921 which made it more difficult for immigrants from Eastern and
Southern Europe to enter the country. Harding was also determined to make the federal government
serve United States business interests. Additionally, from 1923 to 1929, Calvin Coolidge was
outspoken in his support for civil rights for African Americans and Natives. He also believed that the
federal government should not intervene in local affairs. Finally, Ronald Reagan was president from
1981 to 1989, and he set out to cut taxes and deregulate some industries. Reagan hoped that
deregulation would lower costs and boost profits for employers while lowering prices for consumers.
Ultimately, from 1801 to 1989, the United States changed greatly economically, politically, and
socially causing presidents domestic policies to change as well. Firstly, Thomas Jefferson held office
from 1801 to 1809 and established a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from
injuring one another. Jefferson

Juxtaposition In On The Rainy River
In the section On the Rainy River from the novel The Things They Carried, author Tim O Brien
describes his difficulty in choosing between going to war or going to Canada. O Brien implements
many different rhetorical and stylistic strategies to express his dilemma. His use of juxtaposition,
rhetorical questions, and somber diction enhance his frustration of his two choices. O Brien uses
juxtaposition to compare his option of running away to Canada with what he would rather do: live his
life. O Brien describes a scene he has imagined of himself running away. In this dream like state O
Brien sees himself getting chased by the Border Patrol with helicopters and searchlights, (O Brien 48).

In this section, On the Rainy River, O Brien stays at the Tip Top Lodge with the owner, a man named
Elroy. Naturally after spending six days together it would seem logical that Elroy would have some
question. The obvious questions, as O brien calls them, Why was I there? Why alone? Why so
preoccupied? are questions that are never asked by Elroy and are never directly answered (47). While
the answers become apparent to the readers as the section continues, another question arises: Why did
Elroy not ask these questions? The answer to that is because he already knew. Elroy understands why
O Brien is staying there so he does not need to ask him. It is clear that Elroy understands the dire
situation he is in when at the end of the section Elroy leaves an envelope with some money and a note
saying emergency fund, (51). These questions and Elroy himself help make it clear that not only is this
situation difficult for O Brien, but for others as well. Elroy understands that this is a sensitive issue
and O Brien is the only one who can make the decision, so it is better for him to keep to himself and

Rudyard Kipling s `` If `` And Not Make Dreams Your...
In his poem If , Rudyard Kipling explains all the things that one must endure in order to become a
gentleman. Kipling describes what would happen if you can dream and not make dreams your master
that one would be a Man. The qualities that Kipling describes show a stoic person, but not someone
who is flashy. The person describes can take the good with the bad they can meet with Triumph and
Disaster and treat those two impostors just the same while keep[ing] their head [about them]. A Man
can force your heart and nerve and sinew.. and so hold on when there is nothing in you . A Man will
embrace the things that make life worth living. He will recover quickly from his losses, knowing that
he can learn from them. Another quality that Kipling emphasizes is willpower, that the Will which
says to them! Hold on! Trust in life and that everything will work out is also a quality that one must
have to be a Gentleman, and to really embrace life. To attain this wisdom and outlook on life, one
must have had experience with at least a portion of life, having the necessary experience to draw from
mistakes and repeat the actions one showed in triumphs. Even though life is not fair and one has no
idea why he is being punished, one must take it gracefully and accept the absence of such a reason as
part of the grand design of life and humankind. But the essence of If is that if one can embrace the
challenges and absurdity that life throws at oneself, then one can succeed and

India s Increasing Demand For Kpo
The CAGR (compound annual growth rate) was expected by the Indian KPO sector between 2003 and
2010 was of 49.5%. In spite of slowdown, India s KPO market is rising at a CAGR of approximately
30% at present and could touch $30 billion by 2015 from the current level of $20 billion.
Since these reports clearly divulge that there is a clear trend towards KPO services to India. A large
no. of companies are showing their interest in India to offshore their work at comparatively cheaper
rates. For instance, drafting and filing of patent applications is very expensive in the US but it is

A Parliamentary Spirit Of Discovery Persuasive Speech
A Renewed Spirit of Discovery was the title of President Bush s speech for his vision of new Space
Exploration. Since the debate was given on January 14, 2004, it has produced viable concerns from
those who support and oppose the initiative. Arguments for and against it have appeared in all types of
media, and more importantly in the minds of Americans. This Literature Review will discuss many of
these beliefs in order to achieve a well rounded, objective analysis of the issue. But before any
opinions are put forth, it is always important to talk about the relative facts.
Why put forth a new vision?
Over past 30 years, it is hard to say that we have explored space. It is more appropriate to say we have
conquered manned flight in Earth s lower orbit. Truly, the Apollo Missions to the moon, which ended
in the mid 70 s, was also the end to Manned Space. We have continued to build satellites and space
stations to orbit the earth, and robots and satellites to explore Mars and Deep Space. By proposing to
put humans on the Moon and Mars, the President has not changed our manned space exploration
policy; he has created one.
President George W. Bush proposed a new age in Space Exploration on January 14, 2004. The Space
Shuttle Columbia disaster was only part of his reasoning for announcing a new direction for NASA. A
reason not as well known is the current lack of any direction for NASA. Other than sending probes
and robots to Deep Space and Mars, NASA has continued to

Summary Of The Causation Of Vietnam War
A Summary of the Causation of the Vietnam War
Traditionally war serves as an instrument for peace with a defined winner and loser. This was not the
case in the Vietnam War. As the longest war in U.S history, it spanned nearly 20 years encompassing 5
different presidential terms. The war in Vietnam served as a limited proxy war between the United
States and Soviet Union fought to combat the spread of communism, to preserve a democratic state in
Southeast Asia, and to limit the power of the Soviet Union. Due to the complexity of the Vietnam war
itself one cannot categorize the war in terms of winning or losing , rather one must look at the
political, ideological, and historical causations of the war
In the aftermath of WWII most European countries fell under the influence of the communist Soviet
Union. At the time the Soviet Union was rapidly spreading it ideals of Marxist equality throughout
eastern Europe (History.com). Fearful that the grasp of communism would spread rapidly outside of
Europe, the United States shifted its attention to the Korean Peninsula where the soviet backed North

Girlfriends the women are morally unfit due to the social status within society. Evelina is accepted by
society because of how she acts in public and within her society. Evelina demonstrates a woman of

elegant people and going to high class places. In the show Girlfriends the character Toni displays the
snobbery theme. She grew up in a poor family on a farm with an alcoholic mother, but she still
considers herself high class and upscale because she is a successful real estate agent. During season 3,
episode 22 Toni is despised by her family because she thinks that they are lower class and will
embarrass her in front of Todd s family. Toni refuses to include her sister in her wedding because of
how her sister dresses and how she looks. The last theme, Evelina and the show Girlfriends displays is
marriage. Evelina was a woman who loved the entertainment, the sights of London, and to socialize
with people. She always stayed away from rude and foolish men. She did not want their ways to
reflect on her reputation. In the excerpt, Evelina dances with Lord Orville because she likes his
appearance, and he is a respectful man towards her. At the end, Evelina and Lord Orville gets married.

Dichotomy In Paradise Lost And Murder Mysteries
The common dichotomy of good versus evil is as old as the story of the world, and is timeless in its
relevance to almost everything we do in life. This simple concept is seen in many places throughout
our society including pieces of literature. After reading Paradise Lost and Murder Mysteries, it is clear
that Milton and Gaiman portray this dichotomy through Satan and God, however, they do so in two
very different ways. In Paradise Lost, John Milton uses detailed language and imagery to develop a
kind, powerful God, and a Satan that is an equal adversary of God. In Murder Mysteries, Neil Gaiman
also uses specific language and imagery, however, he creates the opposite: a monstrous God, and a
gentle Satan. The characters of Satan and God in Paradise Lost and Murder Mysteries participate in a
role reversal, causing confusion among ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As readers, we see the use of Satan s diabolic pow r for evil actions (Milton IX 95). This omnipresent
demonic power creates the perception that Satan is abusing his power and using it for the wrong
purpose. Milton describes Satan as a very powerful character in order to show that he is a worth
opponent of God. Milton s description of Satan gives the reader the perception that Satan is very
powerful and controlling. In Gaiman s Murder Mysteries, the complete opposite viewpoint is
portrayed. After the angel Carasel is found dead, Lucifer appears in Raguel s cell and asks him to find
who was responsible for this... and take the vengeance... on whosoever caused this (Gaiman 300). In
this scene, Lucifer gives Raguel power and control over the situation, which is unlike Milton s Satan.
Lucifer also tells Raguel to take vengeance on the culprit, however in Paradise Lost, that is an action
that Satan would do himself. The conflicting perceptions of Satan throughout Paradise Lost and
Murder Mysteries are also seen in the character of

American Revolution Research Paper
American Revolution Around the period of 1765 to 1788 North America was going through great
changes. Around 1775 the thirteen colonies demanded to be democratic government and in 1776 they
established the declaration of independence. The thirteen colonies refused to be under the British
government and wanted to separate. In the year 1781 the British surrendered in the American
Revolution and the U.S was declared independence. Many things caused Americans to revolt against
Great Britain. The main reason the Americans revolted against the Britain was taxes on certain goods.
Between the year 1754 and through 1763 the war between Britain and France ended with the British

Chanukah Research Paper
While the word is spelled in an unexpected way, it has the same importance. Hanukkah, or Chanukah,
is a Jewish festival that is held for eight days in December. Numerous individuals mistake Hanukkah
for Christmas; frequently it is known as the Jewish Christmas which is in fact off base. Jewish
individuals don t observe Christmas, and numerous think that it s hostile when individuals call their
festival the Jewish Christmas.
Christmas is a Christian occasion that is commended on December 25 to pay tribute to the
introduction of Jesus Christ or the timeframe that precedes and after this occasion. Christmas
developed more than two centuries into an overall religious and mainstream festivity, fusing numerous
pre Christian, agnostic conventions into the celebrations along the way. Today, Christmas is a period
for family and companions to get together and trade presents. Christmas is celebrated within the
church of the Lord.
The eight day Jewish festival known as Hanukkah or Chanukah remembers the rededication amid the
second century B.C. of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, whereas per legend Jews had ascended
against their Greek Syrian oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt. Hanukkah, which signifies
commitment in Hebrew, starts on the 25th of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Airport Security
In this essay, I will attempt to argue that TSA serves as a mechanism for the government to frame the
nature of the debate on privacy, in a way that is beneficial to them. To do this I will first argue that
airport security and the TSA are objectively ineffective and merely creates the illusion of privacy.
Despite not actually protecting us, the system of airplane security, conditions individuals in the
general public to be willing to make sacrifices in privacy for a perceived greater good in community
safety. This viewpoint of individuals sacrificing a little privacy for the well being of society is the
essentially the same nothing to hide argument that the government uses to justify mass surveillance
and the violation of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is problematic because it is frighteningly easy to make mistakes, and nearly impossible to catch a
suspect. In fact, some security experts suspect that the TSA has never once caught a terrorist at a
checkpoint. A natural byproduct of a one checkpoint system is massive lines. It is widely accepted
both in the intelligence community and popular culture that terrorists seek out crowds because they
can inflict the most damage. This is disturbingly ironic; as in an attempt to prevent us against
terrorism, the TSA conveniently packs hundreds of travels together in cramped security lines, creating
a clear terrorist target. Therefore, technically terrorists don t even need to get through security in order
to make an attack. All of these structural flaws in the American airplane security system or TSA, point
to the conclusion, that the massive TSA system merely creates the appearance of protection. In the last
paragraph, I have attempted to show how the TSA creates a guise of protection while doing very little
to prevent terrorism. However, despite doing very little to protect us, the TSA profoundly impacts the
parameters for how the debate around how privacy is defined. In fact, the government uses systems
like the TSA to control the narrative around privacy. In the current system of airport security, innocent
citizens, are

Siddhartha by Herman Hesse
Herman Hesse s novel Siddhartha is a spiritual book about a man who finds himself , during the time
when the teachings of Buddha started to evolve. Throughout this spiritual novel, there are many
recurring symbols, themes, and strong bonds between the characters.
2. Other than the ferryman Vasudeva helping Siddhartha, the river helps Siddhartha with his path
toward enlightenment. The river serves as the instructor in Siddhartha s journey when he abandons his
wealth and leaves the Samanas. The river is like life, it flows in a certain direction, depending on the
journey you want to take. The function of the river is that it will give one answers depending on the
direction it takes. Because of the philosophical meaning of the river, if one understands it, they will
achieve enlightenment. Vasudeva s philosophical belief is that one must listen to the river for answers.
The river provides one with knowledge without words. Siddhartha s reward for listening to the river is
that he will have a true understanding of reality. Event though Vasudeva told Siddhartha to listen to the
river by his philosophical belief, Siddhartha achieved the meaning of reality of on his own. In reality ,
the river was the instruction because it shared it s knowledge with Siddhartha how to achieve
enlightenment, while the ferryman just pointed him in the right direction. In the end Siddhartha
becomes the ferryman, and Vasudeva retires. Hence now that Siddhartha has true knowledge, he

Approaches to Government Control on Expenditure
1. INTRODUCTION Money is central to the functioning of a government, revenue is generated by the
imposition of taxes and the money received is then spent by the Commonwealth subject to
appropriation. The scope of the governments capacity to spend public moneys has been a controversial
issue for many years, due to the uncertainty surrounding the scope of the spending power. This essay
will determine which approach to Government s control on expenditure is more favourable; the
narrow approach, where Commonwealth s financial expenditure should be limited to expenses
authorised by statute or the wide approach, where the Government should have unlimited spending
power. In order to determine this it is necessary to discuss the different Court s conclusions and
principles that apply in the interpretation of the relevant sections of the Constitution, specifically the
appropriation provisions ss 81 and 83, executive powers provision s 61 and s 96 relating to State
grants. This essay will also evaluate other cases to discuss the effects and developments they have had
on determining the scope of Government s spending power. 2. SCOPE OF SECTION 81 2.1
Executive Government s Appropriation Powers Commonwealth Parliament makes money available to
the Executive Government to spend on a range of matters. An appropriation of money is needed
before Parliament can lawfully spend moneys received. This is usually done through Appropriation
Acts and through annual budgets. Sections 81 and 83

Database security for preventing SQL injection attacks 2
Abstract
SQL injections are the serious threat to the web applications; they permit attackers to acquire
unlimited access to the databases and sensitive data these databases contain. Despite the fact that
analysts and experts have proposed different strategies to address the SQL injection attacks. Many
solutions are able to solve only some of the issues related to it. This document provides the types ...

Because these vulnerabilities can provide access to the sensitive information, this can result in loss of
confidential data. In some cases, the attacker can take control the host web application by using SQL
injection.
Injection Techniques
a. Injection through user input: the attackers inject SQL statements by giving reasonably user input. A
web application can read user data based on the environment in which application is deployed. This
helps the attacker to get the user data directly from them.
b. Injection through cookies: Cookies are data sent from a website and stored on the client system. If
web applications access the cookies to establish SQL queries then an attacker can easily submit an
attack by combining it in cookie.
c. Injection through variables: Variables are the group that contains HTTP, network headers, and
environmental variables. If these variables are associated with the database without altering, this
creates SQL injection vulnerability.

Causes and Effects of the Persian Gulf War Essay
Causes and Effects of the Persian Gulf War
The Persian Gulf War, often referred to as Operation Desert Storm, was perhaps one of the most
successful war campaigns in the history of warfare. Saddam Hussein, leader of Iraq, invaded Kuwait
in 1990. In 1991, after weeks of air strikes, US ground forces entered Iraq and Kuwait and eliminated
Iraqi presence in 60 hours.
Why Would Iraq invade Kuwait?
Kuwait supplies much of the world s oil supplies, and when Hussein invaded Kuwait, he controlled
24% of the world s oil supplies (O Hara). Though this is a good reason, it is not the only one. Iraq s
real excuse for annexing Kuwait was that he believed that Kuwait was producing more oil than it was
supposed to, taking out of Iraq s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Just before the United States began air strikes over Iraq, Hussein decided to test his new weapon on
the city of Iraq. Little damage was caused, but it just was another excuse for the United States to
attack (NSA).
What happened after the Persian Gulf War?
Because the world would not look the other way...tonight, Kuwait is free. Those were the words of
President Bush after the end of Operation Desert Storm. Though free, Kuwait was a war torn country.
While Iraqi troops were retreating, they set fire to many of the Kuwait oil fields causing a constant
blaze. Along with a defeat, Iraq has to accept strict cease fire terms set on by the UN. They include No
Fly Zones on the north and south borders of Iraq, frequent military inspections, destroy all chemical
and ballistic missiles in its possession, and stop any nuclear weapons programs (Brown).
Though only about 367 Americans died in this war, about 160 of them were from friendly fire, which
is when someone is killed by their own country on accident. This is because of the new high tech
weapons where at times, only infrared light can be read, making it impossible to decipher which is
friend or foe (Friendly Fire).
After the war, many of the soldiers who fought developed what is known as Gulf War Syndrome.
Speculation is that the cause may be chemical or biological weapons used, but nothing has ever been
confirmed (Brown).

Restrictive Food Intake Disorder And Anorexia Nervosa
Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder and Anorexia Nervosa are disorders classified as eating and
feeding disorders in the DSM V. An eating disorder is most commonly defined as any of a range of
psychological disorders characterized by abnormal or disturbed eating habits. Unfortunately, eating
and feeding disorders are seldom recognized as extremely prevalent or in desperate need of help.
According to the Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, eating disorders have the
highest mortality rate of any mental illness. With that being said, Anorexia Nervosa and Avoidant
Restrictive Food Intake Disorder are two disorders that deserve proper recognition and discussion. In
order to properly recognize the prevalence and importance of these disorders, it is vital to understand
them. To understand these two disorders will require a deeper look into the classifications, diagnosis,
symptoms, and prevalence of each disorder. It will also be important to discuss the differences in
approaches to treating these two disorders. Anorexia Nervosa and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake
Disorder, while similar, are two completely different disorders; both deserving of proper
understanding and recognition. Anorexia Nervosa is perhaps one of, if not the most well known eating
disorder. Anorexia Nervosa is the condition of a lack or loss of appetite and is also classified as an
emotional disorder characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat.

Art Reflection Essay Example
This summer I spent my time on South Street, in a store that has a long history there. I came in as an
intern and left a more experienced photographer. In this reflection essay I will discuss the place in
which I interned, the information I researched about my field and what I ultimately learned by the end
of this experience. My internship was hosted at Eye s Gallery, off of South Street, Philadelphia. This
store is related to the famous Magic Gardens, a permanent installation of Isaiah Zagar s mosaic art.
Eye s Gallery itself was established by his wife, Julia Zagar, and it is a boutique focusing around Latin
American Folk Art. Many of their original merchandise came from the artists they met while they
served in the Peace Corps. Now they have expanded to include an extensive collection of jewelry,
clothes and include influences from South East Asia. The store opened in 1968 (Udell), after the
building served as their home for many years. My job at Eye s Gallery was to serve as a product
photographer, but my skills were also utilized in fashion shoots and social media curating. Product
photography is mainly about capturing merchandise in a way that makes the appealing, makes the
viewer want to purchase it. This is exactly what I aimed to do during my internship. Many of the
shoots I was assigned focused on jewelry, which is the big seller for the store. I was also given a few
fashion shoots, where I had to utilize models to make the clothes appealing. I read an

A Blessing And A Curse
The lights shine brightly onto the stage, illuminating the fact that there is a figure standing in the

woman in a beautiful silvery white floor length dress. That is the benefit of the passion of the arts that

The arts are a passion the gives multiple benefits. For me, one benefit is that the arts allowed me to see
my true potential. I remember truly realizing my potential, where it basically slapped me in the face,
was the night of the Westfield themed concert at Westfield Academy and Central School in 2016. As
with every concert I had to be there at 6:00 pm, this time was different however, because this time I
had to sing a solo to a song that was written by a past Westfield student who also happened to be the
chorus teacher s daughter, and would be sitting the audience waiting to hear the high school chorus
strut their stuff. The choir started singing, including me, and when we get to my song, Untouchable by
Lucy Knappenberger, I walked over to the mic in the center. Mr. Knappenberger, or Mr. K as he was
called for simplicity sake, began playing the intro to the song, and he nodded his head when I was to

Lazzaro s Four Fun Keys
Lazzaro s work on emotions and feelings in games identified four different aspects of fun in games

Lazzaro s Easy Fun is based on the role of intrigue and curiosity in the enjoyment of games. Easy fun

14000 Military Job Opportunities For Women Essay
The Defense Department recently announced new policies that will open more than 14,000 military
job opportunities to women. Which seems like a great step except that more than 200,000 positions
will still remain exclusive to men, from front line infantry positions to high level special operations
roles. States Dani Moritz from The Muse. (Mortiz) Women have been thrown out of spotlight when it
came to genuine positions. Does this shout disparity for women, as well as stereotyping and it for the
most part tosses women s rights ideal out of the window?
Women began to climb the ladder and finally became equal to men, well almost. Women s rights
include, but is not limited to positions that any man can hold, promotions that were not allowed
beforehand last but not least socially and legal equality. As women, we can t continue to yell
inequality when we are not on the same playing field as men. We, women, have more leverage than
the men. Aspiring to be like men would require us to also go the same extra mile that the male has to
also. Women s right is not for us to be equal while also being held on a pedestal at the same time.
Equality goes both ways, it is for us, as well as men. The inequality of the military has men doing the
double of what women do because they are seen as being mentally and physically stronger. This
relates to the requirements of the military that they have in place which indeed need to be changed for
it to be deemed as an equal service. This identifies

  • 2. Types Of Thinking From Point Of Reference And Relationship Regimens from point of reference and relationship are two focal types of thinking found in numerous legitimate frameworks, particularly CommonLaw frameworks, for example, those in England and the United States. Point of reference includes a prior choice being followed in a later case in light of the fact that both cases are the same. Relationship includes a prior choice being followed in a later case on the grounds that the later case is like the prior one. Contentions from point of reference and relationship are normal for legitimate thinking. Lawful thinking contrasts in various routes from the kind of thinking apply by people in their ordinary lives. It much of the time apply contentions that people don t apply or that people apply in diverse ways. Point of reference is a decent sample of this. In individual thinking we don t regularly respect the way that we chose one path in the past as raising some assumption that we ought to choose the same route later on. Obviously there can be exceptional circumstances that have this impact 2somebody may have depended on what we did some time recently, or may have had their desires raised that we would do as such once more yet missing these unique contemplations we don t view ourselves as being submitted later on to settle on the same choice. It is constantly open to us to rethink a choice and alter our opinions on the off chance that we no more think our unique judgment was right. Law obviously is not the only one in ... • 3. World Trade Center Reflection The terrorist attack on the World Trade Center changed American citizens lives forever. On September 11, 2016 some people risked their lives to save others, others experienced the terror, and many had to watch the tragedy unfold. This day brought American citizens together, when people needed it the most. Immediately, after the brutal attack every mode of transportation was closed and people were trying to find a way out of Manhattan. Average people were stepping up to save the people that were stranded. Most New Yorkers last thought would be to get on a boat, but people were now packed on every square inch of surface possible. After, one of the boaters called out for all available boats to come help evacuate citizens from lower Manhattan. There were more than one hundred boats from everywhere came in no time. Vincent Ardolino s thoughts when helping others was, One person less that will suffer and die. This truly shows how Americans can come together and do what s morally right. One ... There were 2,606 killed in the World trade center and in the surrounding area http://www.statisticbrain.com/911 death statistics/ and multiple people injured due to the attack. One guy jumped from the apron on to the railing onto one of the boat and was asked, What are you doing and his response was, Jumping for my life . This shows during this time that people were scared out of their mind and would do anything to stay alive. Another person said, Please don t leave us here, take us. Knowing that someone said that, expresses what people were thinking after the attack. People were helpless and scared. It s crazy to think that someone would want to do such terrible things to incent people. America grew from this situation and will continue to grow through our ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. William Shakespeare s A Midsummer Night s Dream, Julius... The Use of Structure in a Shakespearean Play: Structure in Henry the V Authors use structure in their written or performed pieces of work to further the reader or viewer s understanding of the plot, to illuminate and widen the perception of a certain text. This is so in the case of Shakespeare and his many plays; Shakespeare makes incredibly meticulous use of the structure and order in which the events occur to more specifically make the point he is anticipating the reader to grasp. Many authors do this, but Shakespeare deserves a closer look, as he is one of the most famous, if not the most famous, classic literature artist who understood this concept broadly. A Midsummer Night s Dream, Julius Caesar, and Hamlet all display Shakespeare s understanding of the rhythm of events that contribute to the overall understanding of a piece of work. Moreover, Henry V is a play that does this with a magnanimity of eloquence, in which Shakespeare arranges the speeches, wars, and comedy in a perfect chronological order to please the reader. Most of Shakespeare s work ends in the protagonist, depending on how many there are, tragically dying and leaving the reader or viewer motionless, irritated at the fact that the story will not go on with that character. Henry the V is different in this aspect because the play leaves the reader very satisfied, they have experienced the building up of certain characters, they have experienced suspense, a climax with the highest form of action, ... • 5. Jenny Sullivan s First Love The poem First Love by Mick Gowar describes the affect that first love has. Rejection by Jenny Sullivan details the shame that rejection brings. The title First Love links to a sense of naivety and innocence. It suggests that the poem may be romantic and meaningful. On the other hand, the title Rejection instantly signifies a negative atmosphere and implies that the poem may be an elegy, as it could be exploring the darker, more sorrowful side of one s mind. Whilst the poems share some similarities, they do not have many ideas or themes in common. First Love includes themes such as desperation and naivety. These can be identified throughout the poem. Desperation is particularly evident in the second stanza with the exclamative Please! and the use of short phrases. The short phrases including Like you suggested. And ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These themes help create a reflective mood with the feeling of shame also prevalent. This poem seems to be challenging popular belief as the first line is Rejection is orange . This is shocking as one would usually assume rejection to be grey and nondescript . Isolation is highlighted here, as it suggests that they stand out, thus making them feel alone, a point which is repeated a couple of lines later, in which they describe themselves as a council worker s jacket . This point is where I began to sense a link to mental illness as the jacket is used to represent a public symbol of shame, much like the way mental illness is viewed in society. This idea is illuminated again in the last quatrain where they describe themselves as feeling slightly leftover after all the guests/have gone. This links back to the theme of isolation and also links to the ideas of low self worth and mental illness. Paranoia can also be identified through descriptions of people whispering behind my back , this again links to mental illness as many sufferers attempt concealing ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. The Relationship Between Gender And Power In A Streetcar... The relationship between gender and power in A Street Car Named Desire In the play A Streetcar Named Desire, author Tennessee Williams creates a strong relationship between gender and power, and asserts that when both are unchecked and combined a force is created which leads people to have no remorse while pursuing their desires. When the four main characters of the play interact we see how this force is detrimental to the weaker characters. Being both immensely masculine and powerful causes Stanley to torment the other main characters while chasing what he wants. While Blanche possesses a domineering personality she is not masculine meaning society does not grant her the same level of power Stanley possesses, allowing him to triumph over her. Mitch is masculine but does not boast enough confidence to be powerful, and is therefore bullied and manipulated by Stanley. As Stella is neither masculine nor confident and powerful, she falls victim to repeated physical and emotional abuse by Stanley. With his overly masculine and domineering personality, Stanley is a prime example of a top ranking alpha male. If his authority is challenged, he responds violently to reinforce his position as the superior being. Williams depicts Stanley as an extremely macho man who enjoys heartiness with men, his drink and food and games, his car, his radio, everything that is his, that bears his emblem of the gaudy seed bearer (Sc. 1, P. 16) and is the commander of his household. • 7. My Personal Life On My Life Priorities When I began to contemplate the possibility to go back to school, I knew I had to make some major changes in my personal life in order to make school a priority. I don t tend to go out to social events often, because I prefer to relax in my place, spend time with my family and go shopping. However, one day I was invited to an event and from that event, a lot of other events followed. I became part of a social group that constantly were doing different activities all the time. Facebook and Instagram crawled in, and I was spending too much of my time, trying to keep up with everything that was going on. I knew that if I wanted to make school a priority, I had to separate myself from all the unnecessary social events, the people I was surrounding myself with, and social media. Why? Because I tend to get distracted easily and at this moment of my life, school is my number one priority. Professionally, I had to make a couple of changes in my job regarding volunteer work that I was doing, which was taking my time and energy. I spoke to my boss, and informed her that I was not able to continue doing the extra volunteer activities, that I was doing. By doing this, I made my academic school work a priority. Academically, I know I will be faced with a lot of barriers, for example, disappointments, discouragement, anxiety, and fear of not being able to keep up with all the school responsibilities a college student faces. One of the things that I will be doing to work ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Analysis Of Invisible Man To be exiled means to be kept from one s native space or country. In the book, Invisible Man, The nameless narrator started off bound for greatness and then as the novel continued he to be challenged with obstacles as he discovered his true self. Through these obstacles he was pushed farther and farther away from the places he learned to call home and had to forget everything he knew to survive. As a young black men the narrator stayed very true to who he was and wished to be a very successful scholar. He got a scholarship for an African American college and was lucky enough to be able to go; however, halfway through his schooling due to power hungry and egotistical Dr. Bledsoe, the narrator was expelled because he showed one of the school founders around dirtier parts of town. This college was a place the narrator considered home and was exiled from it leaving him with only 50 dollars and envelopes filled with false hope. It is very easy to be taken over by fear and hopelessness when you are thrown from somewhere you have spent the most recent parts of your life to a completely different area where you know nothing and no one. Instead of holing up and showing his fear the narrator showed up to Harlem with a positive mindset and portrayed himself as a man who knew what he planned on doing with his life when he got there; however, he was just clinging to letter which held nothing but lies. He used his expulsion to enter a new place as a very sophisticated young man and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Benchmarking Lmdb And Leveldb For Deep Learning Benchmarking LMDB and LevelDB for deep learning Weiyue Wang ABSTRACT Deep learning is a new emerging area of machine learning research, which has been shown to produce state of the art results on various tasks. A high performance database management in deep learning framework will help increase learning efficiency. This work compares the performance of two key value data storage, Lightning Memory Mapped Database (LMDB) and google LevelDB, for deep learning framework. Our key findings are followings. 1.Introduction Deep Learning (DL) has been shown to outperform most traditional machine learning methods in fields like computer vision, natural language processing, and bioinformatics. DL seeks to model high level abstractions of data by constructing multiple layers with complex structures, which compose of hundreds millions of parameters to be tuned. For example, a deep learning structure for processing visual and other two dimensional data, convolutional neural network (CNN) [1], which consists of three convolutional layers and three pooling layers, has more than 130 millions of parameters if the input has 28x28 pixels. While these large neural networks are powerful, we need high amount of training data. DL tasks need considerable data storage and memory bandwidth. Key value stores provide users simple yet powerful interface to data storage, which are often used in complicated systems. [2] LMDB is a framework that provides high performance key value storage ... As president I will make sure our senior year is a year to remember. My goal is to be a president that my class can come to for advice and for anything they want to see during their senior year. I m not going to be a president who will promise all theses ideas, which will end up as broken promises. I plan to have ideas that can actually go into effect. Such as prom and senior activities. • 11. Analysis Of On Liberty On Liberty is an essay composed by a man named J.S. Mill who talks about the different types of liberty given to individuals. The novel in divided up into five chapter stating different liberties or responsibilities that makes someone a responsible self. There is no real definition of what could be considered a responsible self but all the duties one has is what composes this person into what Mill believes one should be. These responsibilities are first to oneself, to others, and finally to society as a whole. The responsibilities to oneself are vast and many depending on what the individual wants to consider as responsibilities. The person must be in tune with all that is happening inside his world so he may grow. Individuality, is a huge part of a person because it shapes not only his personality but his life. It is the duty to himself for once he reaches maturity he is to use what he has learned and interpret it to his beliefs. He learns about traditions and customs from others but may interpret differently, not suitable to him, or do not educate or develop him (55 56). He must develop a strong character with his own impulses and desires that has been created and fixed by his culture. The individual must make sure to take in to account what he prefers before what others want him to do (58). Conformity is also another duty to oneself, since it is what makes him stand out among the rest. A person can only have the chance of becoming himself again, is when his eyes ... The theory was developed by Sigmund Freud who was a psychologist. The use of the psychodynamic approach within health and social care helps individuals understand and support patients who are undergoing the psychodynamic process as it is generally used around the world. This essay aims to show my understanding of the approach and the ways health and social care workers could apply the theory to a health and social care setting. By explaining what psychodynamic counselling is and how it helps individuals it shows how I am able to identify the solutions to the problems. Psychodynamic ... It is the part of personality which holds all of individual s ideals that are required from parents and society (individual s sense of right and wrong). The Super Ego provides guidance in creating judgments. Freud had stated that the Super Ego starts to appear at age five. There are two parts of the Super Ego: * The Ego Ideal this involves the rules and standards for good behaviour. These behaviours consist of those which are permitted by parental and other authority figures. Following these rules leads to feelings of pride, value and achievement * The Conscience consists of details about things that are thought of being bad by parents and society. These sorts of behaviours are regularly not allowed and lead to bad consequences, punishments or feelings of guilt and remorse. The Superego s purpose is to act and improve the behaviours of individuals. It operates to suppress all inappropriate urges which comes from the id and struggles to make the ego act upon the idealistic standards rather than upon realistic principles. The domestic policies of Thomas Jefferson, William Harding, Calvin Coolidge, and Ronald Reagan varied greatly as they were set forth during different time periods. Firstly, Thomas Jefferson wanted a government that would respect the power of individual states, operate with a smaller bureaucracy, and cut its debts. He believed that the government would stimulate the growth of agriculture and therefore bolster the economy. William Harding, who was president from 1921 to 1923, supported the Immigration Quota Act of 1921 which made it more difficult for immigrants from Eastern and Southern Europe to enter the country. Harding was also determined to make the federal government serve United States business interests. Additionally, from 1923 to 1929, Calvin Coolidge was outspoken in his support for civil rights for African Americans and Natives. He also believed that the federal government should not intervene in local affairs. Finally, Ronald Reagan was president from 1981 to 1989, and he set out to cut taxes and deregulate some industries. Reagan hoped that deregulation would lower costs and boost profits for employers while lowering prices for consumers. Ultimately, from 1801 to 1989, the United States changed greatly economically, politically, and socially causing presidents domestic policies to change as well. Why so preoccupied? are questions that are never asked by Elroy and are never directly answered (47). Elroy understands why O Brien is staying there so he does not need to ask him. It is clear that Elroy understands the dire situation he is in when at the end of the section Elroy leaves an envelope with some money and a note saying emergency fund, (51). These questions and Elroy himself help make it clear that not only is this situation difficult for O Brien, but for others as well. Kipling describes what would happen if you can dream and not make dreams your master that one would be a Man. The qualities that Kipling describes show a stoic person, but not someone who is flashy. The person describes can take the good with the bad they can meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two impostors just the same while keep[ing] their head [about them]. A Man can force your heart and nerve and sinew.. and so hold on when there is nothing in you . A Man will embrace the things that make life worth living. He will recover quickly from his losses, knowing that he can learn from them. Another quality that Kipling emphasizes is willpower, that the Will which says to them! Hold on! Trust in life and that everything will work out is also a quality that one must have to be a Gentleman, and to really embrace life. To attain this wisdom and outlook on life, one must have had experience with at least a portion of life, having the necessary experience to draw from mistakes and repeat the actions one showed in triumphs. Even though life is not fair and one has no idea why he is being punished, one must take it gracefully and accept the absence of such a reason as part of the grand design of life and humankind. • 18. A Parliamentary Spirit Of Discovery Persuasive Speech A Renewed Spirit of Discovery was the title of President Bush s speech for his vision of new Space Exploration. Since the debate was given on January 14, 2004, it has produced viable concerns from those who support and oppose the initiative. Arguments for and against it have appeared in all types of media, and more importantly in the minds of Americans. This Literature Review will discuss many of these beliefs in order to achieve a well rounded, objective analysis of the issue. But before any opinions are put forth, it is always important to talk about the relative facts. Why put forth a new vision? Over past 30 years, it is hard to say that we have explored space. It is more appropriate to say we have conquered manned flight in Earth s lower orbit. Truly, the Apollo Missions to the moon, which ended in the mid 70 s, was also the end to Manned Space. We have continued to build satellites and space stations to orbit the earth, and robots and satellites to explore Mars and Deep Space. By proposing to put humans on the Moon and Mars, the President has not changed our manned space exploration policy; he has created one. President George W. Bush proposed a new age in Space Exploration on January 14, 2004. The Space Shuttle Columbia disaster was only part of his reasoning for announcing a new direction for NASA. A reason not as well known is the current lack of any direction for NASA. Other than sending probes and robots to Deep Space and Mars, NASA has continued to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This simple concept is seen in many places throughout our society including pieces of literature. After reading Paradise Lost and Murder Mysteries, it is clear that Milton and Gaiman portray this dichotomy through Satan and God, however, they do so in two very different ways. In Paradise Lost, John Milton uses detailed language and imagery to develop a kind, powerful God, and a Satan that is an equal adversary of God. The lights focus on the figure that has now shown as being a young woman in a beautiful silvery white floor length dress. That is the benefit of the passion of the arts that a person can get if they set their mind to it. Setting one s mind to getting to the stage of being famous, however, is not common because the pure will of a person is not strong enough to pursue such a passion. This is because the ... That was the day I started into the passion of the arts, since then, music and art have not been the same. The arts are a passion the gives multiple benefits. For me, one benefit is that the arts allowed me to see my true potential. I remember truly realizing my potential, where it basically slapped me in the face, was the night of the Westfield themed concert at Westfield Academy and Central School in 2016. As with every concert I had to be there at 6:00 pm, this time was different however, because this time I had to sing a solo to a song that was written by a past Westfield student who also happened to be the chorus teacher s daughter, and would be sitting the audience waiting to hear the high school chorus strut their stuff. The choir started singing, including me, and when we get to my song, Untouchable by Lucy Knappenberger, I walked over to the mic in the center. Mr. Knappenberger, or Mr. K as he was called for simplicity sake, began playing the intro to the song, and he nodded his head when I was to come in, and I come in right on time with the exact right note, and with perfect breath support for the phrase When she was young she was taught right from wrong. Aspiring to be like men would require us to also go the same extra mile that the male has to also. Women s right is not for us to be equal while also being held on a pedestal at the same time. Equality goes both ways, it is for us, as well as men. The inequality of the military has men doing the double of what women do because they are seen as being mentally and physically stronger. This relates to the requirements of the military that they have in place which indeed need to be changed for it to be deemed as an equal service. This identifies ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
