My media product conforms to many conventions of real magazines in its front cover, contents page, and double page spread designs. On the front cover, it uses elements like cover lines, barcode, and overlapping title that are common across magazines. The contents page repeats the magazine branding and includes photography and neutral backgrounds as most magazines do. However, the product challenges some conventions by including more written information than images on the contents page. It also does not conform on the double page spread by using smaller images and a darker background color instead of the usual large images and lighter background.
