My magazine usesconventionsfromreal magazinebecause Ihave followedboththe layoutand
made sure that I have usedthe conventionsamagazine woulduse.Ihave developedthe basicsof
my magazine forexample mytitleandIhave addedeffectsonitto make it seemmore professional,
I have adapteditbehindthe dominantimage because thisfollowsthe conventionsof the magazine
(the title alwaysgoesbehindbecause itsupposedtobe a well know magazinesothe readersshould
alreadyknowthe title therefore theyshouldbe concentratingonthe image.) AnotherreasonIhave
followedthe conventionsof othermusic magazines isbymydominantimage itself,Ihave gone for
herholdinga quitterbecause onmostacousticmusicmagazine the model isoftenholding some sort
of instrument.Ididn’twanthertobe smiling because Ibelievethatmusicisveryemotional but it’s
alsotakenseriousandthese are the typesof feelingsIwantedtocreate tomy readerswhenlooking
at the magazine.(Alsomostmusic’s modelsonthe frontare not seenashappy or smileytheyare
seenasprofessional andseriouslooking.) AnotherreasonIhave followedthe formsandconventions
iswithmy splashesstraplines onthe coverof my magazine these are usedineverymagazine ever
to be createdso inorder formy magazine tolookprofessionalIusedthemhoweverIdidadapt
themto suitmy magazine genre.Alsoi includedthe date of myissue,the price,mymagazines
website andthe barcode.Eachof these wasverysmall thisisimportantasyou don’twantthe main
thinga readerto see isthe barcode etc.At the bottomof the page was mybarcode and my price,
and at the top underneaththe title wasmywebsitename andthe date of my issue.All these things
are importantona magazine because itshowsthe professionalismandalsothe mainthingslike this
are neededonamagazine toextendthe publicityandaudience.
For my contentspage Ifollowedthe conventionsbyhavingagainmytitle onthe topof my page,this
isbecause the more timesa readerseesitthe more timestheyare likelytorememberit.Anotheray

usedthe same model.AnotherwayIhave followedthe conventionsisinmyarticle Ihave a pull
quote that standsoutin a pinkbox.Inmost articlestheyalwayshave apull quotestopull the
audience inbecause somethingsoundscatchyor interesting.
