In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms
and conventions of real media products?

2. My music magazine uses the main conventions of a music magazine including
the sell lines, mast head and cover page set up with the image linking to
the theme of the magazine. The way I have chosen to represent this would
be through the use of image and fonts of the text. My text fonts match up
with the overall theme, however, the image challenges normal magazines
because it uses animation art. Cartoon/ animation art was inspired through
my research on the Gorillaz and I have chosen to let that sink in and
become a part of my main convention. Where the Gorillaz use animation to
sell their CD’s and their music videos on TV, I will use the same type of
Idea to put something new in the foundations of the rock world.
