This system builds upon topics learned in this course. The aim of the project is to keep the
solar photovoltaic panel perpendicular to the sun throughout the year in order to make it more
efficient. The dual axis solar photovoltaic panel takes astronomical data as reference and the
tracking system has the capability to always point the solar array toward the sun and can be
installed in various regions with minor modifications. The vertical and horizontal motion of
the panel is obtained by taking altitude angle and azimuth angle as reference. The Arduino has
been used to control the position of DC servo motors. The mathematical simulation control
of dual axis solar tracking system ensures the point to point motion of the DC motors while
tracking the sun.
Arduino based Real Time Clock with Ringing of Bell and National Anthemrahulmonikasharma
Now a days many school and college bells are operated manually. Hence there is a huge demand of accuracy is required. In market there are many digital clocks available with bells but rings only at specific time and cannot stop after that specific time. A new and inexpensive design is being presented here, in this project. The benefit of this design is that, the bell rings at the start of each period without any human intervention and hence takes over the manual task of switching on/off the college bell with respect to time. It uses Real Time Clock (DS1307) which work at the real time. The Arduino UNO is used to control all the functions; it gets the time through the keypad and stores it in its memory and display it on LCD display. When this programmed time equals the real time then the bell is switched on via a relay and rings for a predetermined time. The bell ringing time can be edited at any time, so that it can be reused at normal class timings as well as at exam times. Also the voice play module with USB player and speaker, play the national anthem according to the users given time as programmed using Arduino UNO.

Electric motorcycles, as differentiated from scooters, do not have a step-through frame. The electricity generated from an external source helps in acceleration of the motorcycle. The speed of this cycle is limited and the electricity is generated using a solar panel. The generated electricity is stored using a battery and the locomotion and movement of the vehicle is hence propelled using a motor. The cycle need not be continuously fed with solar energy in order to gain the capacity to run. It gets its energy from the batteries where the energy is stored. Conventionally, these types of vehicles are hard to use with the help of just mechanical energy. The energy we get from human effort. But when energy is converted using solar energy and a battery, it becomes more easy and helpful in the propulsion of the motorcycle. The motorcycle, not using an engine, becomes an effective way of road transport as it causes no pollution. It is eco-friendly and it definitely reduces human effort.
Fire accidents are an unplanned and undesirable event that brings damages to social wealth and human life needs to be prevented at all cost. In order to prevent the losses accrued from fire accidents, various alarm systems have been developed such as smoke detectors and temperature sensor based systems etc. The availability of a GSM technology is now started into the fire alarm system in order to prevent the menace that could be caused by fire accidents. This project is design and implementation of a cost effective and reliable automated GSM based fire alarm system. The device is able to detect fire in the environment, the system sends SMS and call alert to an inbuilt GSM number when necessary, and make loud sound to alert occupants on pending danger. This was achieved by the use of 12 Volt power supply system that powers the device using step down transformer, programming Arduino Uno Microcontroller using embedded C programming Language in the Arduino IDE, and integrating the program with Arduino Uno Microcontroller with GSM SIM900 module.
