This document presents a minor project synopsis for developing a solar power bank. It discusses using a solar panel and adjustable voltage regulator to charge a lead-acid battery. The objectives are to have adjustable output voltage, a simple and inexpensive circuit using commonly available components, and zero battery discharge when sunlight is not available. The expected outcomes are to reduce use of non-renewable energy by allowing portable energy storage from the sun that can be used when solar power is not available.
Project details - I have made a project Dual Axis Solar Tracker using Arduino to align the solar panel towards the higher density of Sun light. I have used a ATMEGA168 controller IC for programming, and two servo motor for movement of solar panel. Electric motorcycles and scooters are plug-in electric vehicles with two or three wheels that can be recharged from any external source of electricity, and the electricity is stored in a rechargeable battery, which provides power to one or more electric motors to attain movement. Electric motorcycles, as differentiated from scooters, do not have a step-through frame. The electricity generated from an external source helps in acceleration of the motorcycle. The speed of this cycle is limited and the electricity is generated using a solar panel. The generated electricity is stored using a battery and the locomotion and movement of the vehicle is hence propelled using a motor. The cycle need not be continuously fed with solar energy in order to gain the capacity to run. It gets its energy from the batteries where the energy is stored. Conventionally, these types of vehicles are hard to use with the help of just mechanical energy. The energy we get from human effort. But when energy is converted using solar energy and a battery, it becomes more easy and helpful in the propulsion of the motorcycle. The motorcycle, not using an engine, becomes an effective way of road transport as it causes no pollution. It is eco-friendly and it definitely reduces human effort.
This paper presents a battery-less power supply using supercapacitor as energy storage powered by solar. In this study the supercapacitor as energy storage, as opposed to batteries, has widely researched in recent years. Supercapacitors act like other capacitors, but their advantage is having enormous power storage capabilities. Maximum charging voltage and capacitance are two variables of storage in the supercapacitor. The supercapacitor is used as energy storage to charge a low power device wirelessly and act as a power supply. The solar energy is used as a backup power supply if there is no electricity in the remote or isolated area to charge the supercapacitor. The time taken to charge the supercapacitor depend on the amount of current rating of the solar panel. The higher the current, the shorter the time taken to charges the supercapacitor. Power supply using supercapacitor can store up to 30 Vdc using a DC-DC boost converter.

Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.

The admin can view and download the report of the data. The application deliver the excel format reports. Because, excel formatted reports is very easy to understand the income and expense of the college bus. This application is mainly develop for windows operating system users. In 2017, 73% of people enterprises are using windows operating system. So the application will easily install for all the windows operating system users. The application-developed size is very low. The application consumes very low space in disk. Therefore, the user can allocate very minimum local disk space for this application.

Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. 3. INTRODUCTION
As non-renewable energy sources are decreasing, usage of solar energy
is increased. This solar energy is not only used on the Earth but also
used in space stations where no electrical power is available.
Here is the simple circuit to charge 12V, 1.3Ah rechargeable Lead-acid
battery from the solar panel. This solar charger has current and voltage
regulation and also has over voltage cut off facilities. This circuit may
also be used to charge any battery at constant voltage because output
voltage is adjustable.
Solar Battery Charger Circuit Principle:
Solar battery charger operated on the principle that the charge control
circuit will produce the constant voltage. The charging current passes
to LM317 voltage regulator through the diode D1. The output voltage
and current are regulated by adjusting the adjust pin of LM317 voltage
regulator. Battery is charged using the same current.
Solar Battery Charger Circuit Design
Circuit must have adjustable voltage regulator , so variable voltage
regulator LM317 is selected. Here LM317 can produce a voltage from
1.25 to 37 volts maximum and maximum current of 1.5 Amps.
Adjustable voltage regulator has typical voltage drop of 2 V-2.5V .So
Solar panel is selected such that it has more voltage than the load. Here
we are selecting 17v/5w solar panel.
Lead acid battery which is used here has specification of 12v/1.3Ah. In
order to charge this battery following are required.
4. Schottky diode is used to protect the LM317 and panel from reverse
voltage generated by the battery when it is not charging. Any 3 A
diode can be used here.

Rationale:
The main purpose of using this project is to provide portable, reliable
power anywhere it is needed… from offgrid construction sites, to
remote locations where power is not accessible or affordable.
5. They don't require external electrical sources to recharge your batteries
and as a result use of our resources are minimized.
Objective:
Adjustable output voltage.
Circuit is simple and inexpensive.
Circuit uses commonly available components.
Zero battery discharge when no sunlight is on the solar panel.
LiteratureReview:
A literature review is a scholarly paper, which includes the current
knowledge including substantive findings, as well as theoretical and
methodological contributions to a particular topic. It includes
discussion about the components that are being used in the working of
solar power bank.
Expected Outcome:
6. Our project will help to reduce the use of non-renewable energy
resources and will help us to charge our device (mobile phone).
It can be used to store energy, which can be used later when sun is not
available on a wet or cloudy day. Moreover, it has zero battery
discharge when there is no sunlight on the solar panel.
