This document discusses various types of errors that can occur in research design and methodology. It identifies 8 main types of errors: population specification, sampling, selection, frame, non-response, surrogate information, measurement, and experimental. For each type of error, examples are provided to illustrate what causes the error and how it impacts the research. The conclusion emphasizes that while some errors cannot be eliminated, researchers should aim to minimize errors through design and estimate error to understand the accuracy of the research.
