Webinar - Can your company survive without connectedness? w/ Oscar BergCentral Desktop
In a global and rapidly changing business landscape, collaboration is emerging as a competitive differentiator. The technology exists for companies of all sizes to break down geographic, departmental and hierarchical silos. So why is the social enterprise not the reality for most organizations?
Oscar Berg, collaboration expert and author of The Content Economy, explores:
* What keeps your company from embracing social business practices
* How to tell if your company is late to the collaboration party
* How to drive organizational connectedness – from the bottom up or the top down.
The following is an erratic thought-experiment to place the significant, incremental technologies required to produce true, emergent Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is a culmination of thousands of hours of discussions and parallel-thought experiments I've had with Tristan and others over the past 5 years. It is a work in progress and dates are approximate. If you have any further ideas, thoughts or feedback, please contact me via my blog. I'd love to hear from you!
This presentation describes an inventory to measure Communities of Practice. It gives background to the theory of CoP and the development process of the inventory.

The workplace is changing – and it’s largely due to the impact of social technologies. More and more individuals are using their own devices and tools to address their own learning and performance problems, and the emergence of social businesses means that collaboration and community skills are becoming the new workplace skills. L&D departments around the world are grappling with how to makes sense of all this and how they can support the new ways of learning in the social workplace.
Networks come in all shapes and sizes. However, if you want to be a system shifting network you will need to put in place scaffolding so that transformation can emerge easily and quickly. In nature, billions of soil organisms and mycorrhizal fungal mats work together to form this type of scaffolding to distribute resources and support the growth of plants and trees as they create a forest. There are 6 basic structures that work together to create an environment for rapid change. Some, such as innovation funds, have been prototyped by many different networks. Others, such as communications systems and governance systems, are still in their infancy. Join June Holley and Yasmin Yonis from Network Weaver for a discussion about the necessary scaffolding for truly transformational networks.
Lorraine Barclay and Annette Webb, members of the UCISA Digital Capabilities Group, are hosting and presenting a 60 minute tech talk at 12:00 on Friday 18 March on how new cloud technology (with a focus on Groups in Office365) impacts on specific internal institution stakeholders (such as IT Trainers, IT Administrators, and Learning and Development managers). The talk will also look at ways to help your organisation overcome the challenges of using these types of technologies more effectively.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
