This document summarizes discussions from multiple open space sessions at a conference on September 14, 2010. The sessions addressed topics such as creating a receptive corporate culture to learning, the purpose of business in the 21st century, and selecting ways to deliver business education. Ideas, issues and opportunities were discussed for each topic. Suggestions included getting buy-in from leadership, balancing formal and individual learning needs, benefiting communities, changing organizational purpose to serve humanity, using different technologies and delivery styles to accommodate learning preferences, and directly surveying learners about their needs.
