Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:
General oversight of general aspects of KDO’s food security and livelihood
programs in Punt land.
Provision of advice and leadership on the development and implementation of
KDO’s food security and livelihood programming and overall management of all
aspects of the program. This includes: assessment, planning, implementation,
monitoring, capacity building of local NGO partners and KDO staff, reporting and
evaluation of program and preparing periodic reports back to donors, as well as
close coordination with other organization’s efforts through all Punt land areas.
Management of program implementation, including staff management, reporting
and budget control.
Conduct surveys, needs assessments and oversees M&E data collection
throughout project cycle and for development of future program initiatives
Monitor and maintain coordination with different stratum of community in national,
regional, district and household levels in areas, where KDO’s agricultural/food
security/livelihoods programs operate

food security/livelihoods/early recovery
