- Ensure that all programs are carried out in line with Save the Children country and global priorities.
- Responsible for the operational planning of activities for the overall implementation of Save the
Children’s Child Protection and Education activities in all Syrian refugee camps in Jordan.
- Prepare and oversee programs operations to ensure timely delivery of program activities in line with
commitments to donors and budget.
- Budget Holder for over US$ 8 Millionof grants.
- Contribute to high quality concept notes and proposals development.
- Participate in multi-agency coordination mechanisms in designated field base / locations, and lend
support to overall interagency coordination where appropriate

- Ensure adequate staffing and structure for the field base in consultation with PDQ and Operations

Project Manager (Based Syrian Refugee Za’atari Camp).
- Worked with partners to finalize the detailed implementation plan and the strategic plan as well as
implementing interventions.
- Ensure that all activities are planned efficiently, effectively and are of sustainable impact; based on
accepted best practices.
- Budget management including institutional donors, a 4.8 Million$US Budget holder.
- Identify and oversee the selection of partners, agreement with partners and provision of overall
interventions in the field, and ensure that all activities improve access to quality services provided as
part of the design of this project.
- Design and provide technical guidance for all activities under the various components of the project
and those are: Education –ECD, Formal and Informal- Protection and Livelihoods.
- Design and provide technical guidance on awareness raising messages and activities for community
stakeholders (including parents, community leaders, and employers).
- Ensure tracking of set indicators throughout the implementation cycleand regular reporting on
impact, and in coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, assist partners in developing
appropriate strategies for monitoring and evaluating implemented activities.
- Assist in strengthening national institutions and local partners’ capacity to continue to implement
and provide access to quality services beyond the life of the project
- Represent Save the Children and the Project in relevant coordination meetings and meetings with the
Government Ministries regarding the Syrian Humanitarian Response relevant to educational access
and quality.

- Assess and enhance the current programs’ materials with additional needed approaches and content
that respond to the programs’ scale up plans.

activities are implemented per plan and M&E systems documents quality results.
- Develop all required new training materials for School to Career (StC) and life skills through sport
(LStS) programs.
- Design, Develop and Implementation of national professional development and capacity building roll
out plans for all needed training to STC and LStS programs.
- Work closely with Ministries of Education (MoE) in JORDAN, PALISTINE and EGYPT to apply their
curricula requirements to all relevant training materials, ensuring the accomplishment of official
approvals on the developed materials.
- Joint Work with an international consultant (David James Jones) on developing, documenting and
disseminating all related component’s materials as career counseling competencies, quality
assurance indicators and others.
- Work with MoE Technical committee to ensure proper training and implementation of the training
Curricula and approaches in workshops and the field.
