General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM is a three and a half year diploma course that can be pursued by the students, willing to make their career in clinical nursing. Nursing is an important part of the health care system which promotes mental health and prevention of illness. This course focuses on subjects such as anatomy and physiology, midwifery and gynecological nursing. During this course, students learn to deal with patients and assist doctors and help them develop skills to work efficiently in a hospital environment and provide first aid, blood pressure monitoring, etc.
Candidates interested in taking admission must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% from a recognized board with Science/Commerce/Arts any stream and English as compulsory subject. The focus of our team project is to initiate a
prelicensure
BSN program with in an institution that does not already have an existing one. Our team choose to place the program in Princeton University, as it is not only an Ivy League institution with a lengthy history of excellence, but the need and resources within the local community correlate with the outcome goals of our program.

Across the Lifespan

In this course, students will focus on the application of theories, concepts, research, and issues related to the care of clients, across the lifespan with identified chronic health problems.

Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace.
