♋ Regd under – central govt/ state govt; regd pvt/ public trust ; regd
missionary; regd corporate company
♋ Own 100 bedded parent hospital (exempted in tribal & Hilly area)
♋ NOC/ essentiality certificate from State govt
♋ Approval of State Nursing Council & State University
♋ Inspected and permitted by Indian Nursing Council
♋ Seat sanctioned by INC – final
Physical facilities
♋ Separate building near to parent hospital
♋ Non residential area; Have only nursing programmes
♋ Constructed area (sq ft) for annual intake of 40-60
students - 23720 for CON and 20000 s ft. for SON
♋ If in hospital – separate teaching block
♋ Shared labs – If School & College under one
ownership & same campus
Physical facilities..
♋ For SON – Rented/ leased building permitted for first 2 years.
Thereafter - Rs.50,000 penalty/ yr for 3 years, and suitability
withdrawn. Submit fresh proposal.
♋ No shift-wise mgt with other institutions
