4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The minimum age for admission shall be 17
years.
The maximum age for admission shall be 35
years.
The minimum educational requirements shall
be 10 +2 in Arts passing out from recognised
board.
Student shall be medically fit.
5. Appreciate the concept of holistic health.
Identify health problems/needs and resourses
in the community and mobilize social
support for active participation of the
community in health care activities.
Provide preventive ,promotive , restorative
and emergency health care to individuals and
community as required.
Provide treatment of minor ailments.
6. Provide skilled midwifery services to all mothers
in the community and refer mothers at risk to
hospitals.
Provide skilled care to all neonates in
community and refer neonates at risk to the
appropriate levels.
Render skilled child care services at home,clinic
and school.
Guide/train birth attendants,Anganwadi
workers,other community health activists and
volunteers.
7. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
Minimum and maximum age for admission will be
17 and 35 years.
Mnimum education :10+2 class passed preferably
Science & English with aggregate of 40% marks or
10+2 in arts passing out from recognized board
under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/CHSE or other
equivalent board.
Registered as anm with state nursing registration
council.
Student shall be medically fit.
8. Demonstrate competency in providing health
care to individual , sick or well.
Assess the nursing need of clients from birth to
death.
Plan and carry out appropriate action to meet
nursing needs.
Provide effective nursing care for maintaining
best possible level of health in all aspects.
Promote self care in people under their care.
Apply problem solving technique in nursing

10. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The minimum age for admission shall be 17
years on 31st December of the year in which
admission is sought.
Minimum education 10+2 passed with science
& English core/English elective with aggregate
of 45% mark from recognized board under
AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/CHSE or other equivalent
board.
Student shall be medically fit.
11. Apply knowledge from physical ,biological
,and behavioural sciences, medicine
including alternative medicine.
Demonstrate understanding of life style and
other factor, which affect health of
individuals and groups.
Provide nursing care based on steps of
nursing process in collaboration with the
individuals and groups.

14. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Passed the higher secondary or senior
secondary or intermediate or 10+2 or an
equivalent examination recognized by the
university for this purpose.
Obtained a certificate inGNM and registered as
R.N.R.M. with the state nurses registration
council.
Candidates shall be medically fit.

17. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The candidate should be a registered nurse and
registered midwife of equivalent with any state
nursing registration council.
The minimum education requirement is B. SC .
NURSING/POST BASIC B. SC. NURSING with
55%aggregate marks.
18. The candidate should have undergone in
B.sc. Nursing/POST BASIC B. SC. NURSING
in institution which is recognized by indian
nursing council.
Minimum one year of work experience after
basic b. sc. Nursing.
Minimum one year of work experience prior
or after post basic b. sc. Nursing.
19. Practice as a nurse specialist.
Demonstrate leadership qualities and function
effectively a a nurse educator and manager.
Demonstrate skill in conducting nursing
research, interpreting and utilizing the findings
from health related research.

20. In 1980 RAK college of nursing started an M
phil programme as a regular and part time
course.
Duration of the full term M.Phil course in
nursing are:

nurses for encouraging research attitudes and

25. ELIGIBITY CRITERIA:
1.Be a registered nurse and registered
midwife(R.N. R.M.) .
2.Possess a minimum of one year experience as
a staff nurse.
3.Nurses from other countries must obtain an
equivalence certificate from INC before
admission.
4.Be physically fit.
26. Practice midwifery in accordance with the
practice standards for the nurse practitioner
in midwifery and newborn care.
