This document discusses enhancing the coefficient of performance (COP) of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
It presents a study that uses a diffuser between the compressor and condenser to reduce the kinetic energy of the refrigerant leaving the compressor. This project report summarizes the design of a plant to manufacture 50,000 tons per annum of styrene oxide. Key aspects of the design include:
1) Energy and mass balances are presented for the pre-heater, reactor, and distillation column sections. Steam and cooling water requirements are calculated.
2) The reactor is designed as a batch reactor with calculations showing a volume of 14.95 m3 and diameter of 2.013 m based on the desired residence time and conversions.
3) The distillation column is designed with 19 actual trays based on calculations from vapor liquid equilibrium data. The column has a height of 12 m and diameter of 1.223 m.

Optimization of H2 Production in a Hydrogen Generation Unit
This article presents the results of the use of advanced process control algorithm
to optimize the H2 production of Henrique Lage Re nery (REVAP) located in the state of
S~ao Paulo, Brazil. The control methodology is applied to the second Hydrogen Generation
Unit (HGU) of the Re nery and consists of optimizing its production in order to guarantee
the hydrogen supply for the re nery's header without production loss. The designed controller
had the support of dynamic simulation for disturbances modelling and identi cation which
contributed for the improvement of the control strategy. The results in this paper represents
the application of the control methodology in the real plant.
Hydrogen generation
Hydrogen can be produced through various methods such as steam reforming of natural gas, partial oxidation of hydrocarbons, thermochemical water splitting using high temperatures, electrolysis of water, radiolysis of water through nuclear radiation, and biological and enzymatic conversion of biomass. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages related to efficiency, costs, environmental impacts, and scalability. Hydrogen is a very useful energy carrier due to its high energy content per unit mass and non-polluting nature when used.

This document discusses enhancing the coefficient of performance (COP) of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

2) The reactor is designed as a batch reactor with calculations showing a volume of 14.95 m3 and diameter of 2.013 m based on the desired residence time and conversions.
3) The distillation column is designed with 19 actual trays based on calculations from vapor liquid equilibrium data. The column has a height of 12 m and diameter of 1.223 m.

advent of technology has also increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents take place
frequently which causes huge loss of life and property because of the poor emergency facilities.
Many lives could have been saved if emergency service could get accident information and
reach in time. Our project will provide an optimum solution to this draw back. A piezo electric
sensor can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle during and after a crash. With
signals from a piezo electric sensor, a severe accident can be recognized. According to this
project when a vehicle meets with an accident immediately piezo electric sensor will detect the
signal or if a car rolls over. Then with the help of GSM module and GPS module, the location
will be sent to the emergency contact. Then after conforming the location necessary action will
be taken. If the person meets with a small accident or if there is no serious threat to anyone’s
life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to
avoid wasting the valuable time of the medical rescue team.

blood donors such as Name, Number, Address, Blood Group, rather than searching it on
