referring to common similarities
e.g: mammals have hair / breasts to feed babies so
Human , horses , dogs belong to one group
All of them are descended from the same ancestor
Distant ancestor
species as a group of organisms that can reproduce to produce fertile offspring
binomial system of naming species as an internationally agreed
system in which the scientific name of an organism is made up of two parts
showing genus and species
