This document analyzes the use of geocell reinforcement on different types of shallow foundations, including conical shell footing, isolated footing, and strip footing. Non-linear finite element analysis is performed using ABAQUS to evaluate the settlement behavior of these foundations with single-layer and multi-layer geocell reinforcement. The analysis shows that multi-layer geocell reinforcement reduces settlement more than single-layer reinforcement. Specifically, three-layer geocell reinforcement provides the minimum settlement for all foundation types analyzed. Increasing the number of geocell layers strengthens the soil and increases the bearing capacity of the foundation.
Vibro replacement stone columns are a ground improvement technique to improve the load bearing capacity and reduce the settlement of the soil. On many occasions, it is noted that the local soil is, by nature, unable to bear the proposed structure, so the use of ground improvement techniques may be necessary. Use of stone columns is one such technique. The stone column consists of crushed coarse aggregates of various sizes. The ratio in which the stones of different sizes will be mixed is decided by design criteria
Introduction and comparison of ground improvement techniquesNouman Ijaz Chatha
This presentation will provide the reader with all the necessary information regarding ground improvement techniques for both cohesive and non-cohesive soils with comparison among few. It also carries some practical examples of ground improvement.

Physical Modelling Of Improving Bearing Capacity For Foundations By Geo FabricsIOSR Journals
The objective of the research paper is to develop a new model by which we can improve the bearing
capacity of foundation by using geo fabrics. The primary design concerns for a foundation engineer are bearing
capacity and settlement. The soil reinforcement technique of the geo synthetic has been taken into account for
developing such a model that can be used to reduce excessive settlements on soft soils and prevent the
foundation from failing. Hence, this paper summarizes the physical and numerical simulation to verify the
results to enhance the performance of the foundation.
Performance of cyclic loading on circular footing on geogrid reinforced sandbedeSAT Journals
Abstract Foundation is a part of structure which transmits weight of structure to the ground. In addition to static loads the foundations are subjected to dynamic loads like machine loads, seismic loads and moving wheel loads. This paper presents laboratory test results of cyclic loading on circular footing on geogrid reinforced sandbed for different densities. In this paper, works are carried out on circular footing with different densities i.e. 1.642gm/cc, 1.722gm/cc, 1.763gm/cc and with number of layers as 0, 1, 2, 3. Dynamic soil properties as coefficient of elastic uniform compression Cu, coefficient of elastic uniform shear Cτ, coefficient of elastic non-uniform shear Cψ and the coefficient of elastic non uniform compression Cφ were also determined. It has been concluded that as density of sand bed and as number of layers increases, settlement of footing decreases. Keywords : Cyclic loading, geogrid, coefficient of elastic uniform compression , coefficient of elastic uniform shear, coefficient of elastic non-uniform shear and the coefficient of elastic non uniform compression.
The use of geo-grids in reinforced concrete sets a new dimension for employing
geo synthetics as reinforcement in structural concrete. The aim of the present study is
to investigate the use of geo-grid as a strengthening material to one way reinforced
concrete slabs. The experimental program contains testing of six RC slab
strengthened with different type of Geo-Grid and one reference slab. The specimens
have been tested under two line loads. Experimental results indicate that geo-grid
may be an effective alternative material for strengthening of reinforced concrete slabs
as compared to conventional confining techniques. Finally, A Finite Element model
(FEM) has been developed using ANSYS program to analyze the tested slabs, then the
experimental and theoretical results were compared.
A STUDY ON EFFECTS OF GEOSYNTHETIC ENCASEMENT ON FLOATING STONE COLUMNIAEME Publication
There is tremendouseffort required to treat the soft soil for laying foundation over it. In recentera researchers found little success to treat such a heterogeneous soft soil. The Geosynthetically encased stone column for improving such soft soil is nowproven to be most effective one. Many researchers worked and proven theeffectiveness of this method. Plenty of researchers worked on soft soilimprovement using Geosynthetically encased stone column. Most of the researchwork done on unit cell idealization basis and the stone column rested overrigid bottom base of unit cell. However it is not necessary to have firm layeralways available during actual field condition. So the present research work isall about treating the soft soil with Geosynthetically reinforced floatingstone column. The bottom of the stone columns is rested over soft soil itself.Four types of Geosynthetic materials are used as an encasement. The loadsettlement responses were measured to know the effects of types ofreinforcement on load settlement behaviour of floating stone column.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
