GIFT GIVING MADE EASY – SCRIP is available for you to buy and take home today for gas, groceries, restaurants,
and many other businesses. Pick up the lists (there are TWO) and fill it out to order your Christmas gifts; avoid the
December rush by shopping now!! Please stop by the Welcome Desk after service and see what we have available.
ADVENT DEVOTIONS – Devotion books for the Advent season can be picked up from the Narthex. These books were
provided to us by the Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots U.S. at no charge.
SUICIDE PREVENTION – QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, three steps anyone can learn to help
prevent suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. You can receive
this training for free at OSLC on December 9 from 6-7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Open to individuals and families,
grade 7 through adult. Our confirmation classes will be joining this event, perhaps you can too! Invite your friends!
CHRISTMAS COOKIE SALE - CHRISTMAS COOKIE SALE- CHRISTMAS COOKIE SALE

COOKIE DONATIONS STILL NEEDED – Please drop off cookies and/or candies in the gym on Saturday, December

YOUTH NIGHT – Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome again this week for fun and games, homework time (with help if
desired), and a great meal before Confirmation Class. Bring a friend; they are always welcome!
MOVIE NIGHT FOR GRADES 7-12 – Join us on Saturday, December 5th from 6-9 PM in the Youth Room. Food will
be provided and friends are always welcome. Hope to see you there!

LET‟S FILL SOME TUMMIES – We are putting on the Thanksgiving and Christmas push for non-perishable foods for
those less fortunate. All donations are brought to Manna for Life for distribution to area needy. Please bring at least one
item for each family member this month. The collection barrels are located in the office hallway under the coat rack.
DELIVERING JOY TO OUR SHUT INS – You did it again!! 15 plants brought in on Sunday were picked up and
delivered to our shut-ins. We are looking for contributions towards the cost of this project. To contribute towards the
costs for this project, please take an envelope from the pew rack and indicate the designation for shut-in plants.
THE GIFT OF GIVING – Want to help bring a smile to a Bornemann Nursing Home resident? A list of resident names
and suggested gifts can be found on the Narthex counter. Write your name next to the gift item(s) you will purchase for
the resident(s). These gifts should be WRAPPED. Please also affix a gift tag (the „from‟ can be you or anonymous).
Please return items to the designated area of the coat room no later than Sunday, December 13.
„TOYS FOR TEENS‟ IS BACK – A list of possible gift items for teens can be found in the Narthex. Please write your
name next to the type of gift you intend to purchase. Items should be brought to the church UNWRAPPED. Please return

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SUMMARY – “Jesus said, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder
them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14. In praise and thankfulness to what the Lord
has given us, our members have responded with love and generosity to His children. Every shoe box that we delivered
contained a toothbrush and toothpaste thanks to donations from two of our church members. By the end of our collection,
100 shoe boxes were delivered to Green Bay Community Church. From that point, they are shipped to the processing
center in Minneapolis. The final processing at each of the regional centers (Boone, Charlotte, Atlanta, Minneapolis,
Denver, and Santa Ana) began November 25. This year, children in Argentina, Costa Rica, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Nicaragua,
Paraguay, Senegal, Uruguay and Venezuela will receive boxes. A heartfelt “Thank You” goes to all who contributed to
the success of this ministry. Praise be to God!!!
BEAUTIFY CHURCH WITH FLOWERS – Single Red or White poinsettia plants are being offered for $10 each (no
limit) to decorate Our Saviour for Christmas. Sign up sheets can be found in the Narthex; please write in your name and
complete the „in memory of‟ section. The deadline to sign up is December 13. Please use the envelopes available by
the sign up sheets for your donations; remember to include your name and offering envelope number.
LAMBEAU FIELD WORKERS – Only two more opportunities left to volunteer at Lambeau Field! New workers
should contact Neil at 866-9088 for details on requirements for all workers. The volunteer lists for the remaining games
are very short!! OSLC receives $50 for each runner that signs in on game day. Try it…you‟ll like it!! GO PACK! 
KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS – Please help spread the word. Green Bay Trinity Lutheran School is selling magnets
that can be placed on your vehicle to help remind our community about the true meaning of Christmas. The simple
nativity scene can be purchased at the Welcome Center for $5 each. Thank you for supporting this campaign.
NATE WATT INSTALLATION – Everyone is invited to attend the Commissioning and Installation for Mr. Nathan
Watt at the 10:45 am service on Sunday, December 6th. Please help us celebrate with Mr. Watt on this very special day.
BARI-SAXOPHONE PLEASE HELP – We NEED a bari-saxophone for a very talented player. We have been paying
$80 a semester to fix the one we had and it can no longer be fixed. IMC has a refurbished bari-sax for $900 and we need
your help to purchase it. Please pray about it and consider being a part of the NEW Lutheran Concert Band.
