WE „HEART‟ JESUS – In February we celebrate St. Valentine‟s Day. All year long, we celebrate the love of God in
giving us His son to die on the cross for our sins. We pray that our visitors see that love at Our Saviour. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, your name, address, etc.
EXPERIENCING JOY DURING A "CRUCIBLE EXPERIENCE" – Join us for our Bible Study class about deep
inner joy. What is a "Crucible Experience”? A time of suffering that produces a deep transformation on the inside. Come
and watch St. Paul share his deep inner joy during a time in the "crucible". We will be studying the book of Philippians at
9:15 and 10:30am on Sundays.
NURSERY AND SUNDAY SCHOOL – Children toddling to age 3 are invited to the Nursery (9:15am service only) and
ages 4 to grade 6 are welcome in Sunday School (children are dismissed to go to class after the Children‟s Sermon);
classes end at 10:30am. If you need assistance, please talk to an usher. If you need a registration form, they can be found
in the office hallway (yellow form in the tall brochure holder by the youth bulletin board).
2011 THEME: HIS LOVE-OUR RESPONSE – In the bulletin today is a „Response Form‟. How might you respond to
the new life He has given you? How might you “stretch yourself” to grow in ways that are new to you? How might you
serve Him, joyfully? Please drop off your completed form at the Welcome Center.
YOUTH NIGHT THIS WEEK – Come for homework help, to study and play and eat a great meal for just $3. Youth up
to grade 6 can stay until 6pm when 7th and 8th graders go to class; Senior High youth are welcome to stay until 7:30pm.
CHOIR – We practice each Tuesday at 7:00pm; newcomers are always welcome. Please come to sing with us as we
prepare music for the Lenten/Easter season. Got questions? Call Judy O'Grady (469-0948).
CAMP LUTHER VISITS TODAY – We welcome Camp Luther today to share their ministry with us before or after
each service. The winners of the free Camperships will be announced at services today. Camp Luther brochures are
available in the office hallway and were also handed out to all Sunday School children earlier this month.
LENT BEGINS SOON…WITH CHANGES – March 9 is Ash Wednesday and services will be at 4:00pm and 6:30pm.
A luncheon will be provided between services by the Fellowship Committee for a free will offering. Weekly Lenten

is interested in preparing and serving the luncheon for a night or two, please contact Pastor Greg. The freewill offering
will be designated to a specific cause each week.
YOUTH NIGHT CHANGES COMING – Beginning March 9 (Ash Wednesday), there will be no Confirmation Class
on Wednesdays BUT Confirmation Youth are expected to attend a Lenten Service (at 4 or 6:30pm). Homework help,

REALLY BAD GIRLS OF THE BIBLE – If you missed the sign-up, you can still join our class. Look for the pink

Ash Wednesday, for our first class!

Saviour by March 1. If you have any questions, please contact Caroline Arndt at 469-3140.

cards for grocery and drug stores, gas, restaurants, and more. Instead of using cash or a credit card at the store, just pull
out the gift card you received through our SCRIP program…many cards are available for purchase today (Festival Foods

clothes, toys, furniture, etc. Make sure to add this to your calendar so you don‟t forget to donate and attend!
SUPER SALE DONATIONS – Is it on your calendar? The Super Sale is scheduled for August 20. Mark your calendar
now so you won‟t miss it! Remember, no clothes for the Super Sale but we take everything else…furniture, linens, books,
holiday items, cookware, glassware, CDs/DVDs, luggage, tools, etc. We ask that you do not bring computers or TVs
(unless flat screen or flat panel) or Encyclopedia-type book sets. If you have questions, please call the office.
CPR CERTIFICATION – Do you want to get certified in CPR or do you need to be recertified? If you have an interest
in either, please contact Michelle in the church office at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org as soon as possible. We hope to
have classes scheduled for March so call or email now.
PROJECT „HELP FOR THE HOMELESS‟ – As a special project, Sunday School students will be collecting personal
care and cleaning products for the Brown County Homeless Coalition and Howe Family Resource Center. Notes were
sent home with students about the items being collected each week (beginning today). We encourage all members of Our
Saviour to also donate to this worthy cause. Donations will be accepted through March 27. There will be a list of items
requested in the office hallway as well as by the collection box by the upstairs coat room/restrooms.
FAITH BUILDER IS COMING BACK – Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 5:20 pm to 6:20pm on March 9,
16, 23 and 30 and April 6 and 13. Your teachers will be Pastor Dave Hatch and Pastor Greg Hovland. This class is used
as a path to membership through Adult Confirmation but all members and non-members are welcome to come to
strengthen their knowledge. The first class will be on Thursday, March 3 from 5:30-6:30pm and will include a Talk „n
Tour. RSVPs requested but not required; please notify the office at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org.
ADVERTIZE YOUR BUSINESS IN THE VOICE – We are now accepting new advertisers for our monthly newsletter,
The Voice. A business card sized space is available at a cost of $300 for one year or $25 per month. Please contact
Michelle at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org; ads can be seasonal/short-term if desired. All ads must be „print ready‟.
WE WANT YOUR GREEN AND GOLD! – If you have any S&H Green Stamps or Gold Bond stamps in a drawer or
box, bring them to the office. After receiving a large donation of both, we looked for information on their value. Although
the value for each point is small, when put together into a pot, the amount can be something worthwhile working to
redeem. If you have any questions, please call Michelle in the office (468-4065).
GIVE A LITTLE – Our donation goals for 2011 are still the same. We are collecting food for the poor, prescription pill
bottles, cell phones and manufacturers‟ coupons; bins are on the 2nd floor just past the elevator, near the coat room. The
Box Tops, Labels for Education, Capri Sun, etc. cart remains in the main hallway by the Preschool door. Empty ink jet
cartridges can be placed on the cart by the Preschool door (as a donation to Trinity) or in the church secretary‟s mailbox
(as a donation to Our Saviour). See previous blurb regarding the collection of personal hygiene and household items
through March. COUPON NOTE: Please be careful…don‟t cut too many at one time or clip too close… the expiration
date and bar code must be intact to be redeemed. Coupons expired up to two months are still acceptable!
MEMORIAL GIFT CARDS AVAILABLE – Are you looking for a way to memorialize a friend or relative? The
Gideons offers a sympathy card to send to the family with information on the donation you made to The Gideons in their
loved one‟s name. The cards include the donation form and envelope to mail your donation directly to The Gideons.

If you have any questions, please call Michelle in the office (468-4065). GIVE A LITTLE – Our donation goals for 2011 are still the same. We are collecting food for the poor, prescription pill bottles, cell phones and manufacturers‟ coupons; bins are on the 2nd floor just past the elevator, near the coat room. Empty ink jet cartridges can be placed on the cart by the Preschool door (as a donation to Trinity) or in the church secretary‟s mailbox (as a donation to Our Saviour). See previous blurb regarding the collection of personal hygiene and household items through March. COUPON NOTE: Please be careful…don‟t cut too many at one time or clip too close… the expiration date and bar code must be intact to be redeemed. Coupons expired up to two months are still acceptable!
