My Reflection Of My Experience In The Courtroom
For me, attending the Lindsey Flanigan Courthouse was the first experience I ve had in a physical
court room. From the moment I arrived, I felt fairly overwhelmed with so many court rooms and cases
being heard that day. I decided to go to the fifth floor, where felony cases were being heard, and I
thought it would be fairly exciting getting to hear felony cases compared to misdemeanors. My
expectations before going were mostly based on shows such as Law and Order, in which the whole
hour is spent hearing one specific case. But in reality, the proceedings were far different from what I
expected. When I arrived in the court room, the case of People v. Larry Sanchez was being discussed.
Mr. Sanchez, was not only in handcuffs, but also wearing a correctional facilities green jumpsuit.

an arraignment in which the judge accepted the defendant s petition for plea bargain. I thought it was

shed light on the issue that women face worldwide, it seems as if humanity still does not understand
its importance. Society has tried to mold everyone to believe that white heterosexual men are superior
to those who do not fit the hegemonic norm. However, there have been women and men who
dedicated their lives to fight this worldwide issue. Amongst those people are Nicholas Kristoff and

Cisco s Smart Connected Vehicles division has a hypothesis which states that autonomous cars could
eliminate as 85 percent of head on collisions. One of the greatest problems that smart cars face is
getting people to trust them. In a study conducted by Carlnsur, it found that 80 percent of people
would not purchase a self driving car if they had the option, citing their main reason of opposition as a
lack of trust in the computer to get them to their destination safely (Young).
Furthermore, because the cars will be able to communicate with each other Cisco believes that the
traffic would be lighter and therefore save drivers time spent in traffic. Henceforth, by cars spending
less time in traffic there will be less carbon released into the air and fuel costs will decrease, which
will lead to a more sustainable environment.

Nearly $30 billion will be spent in the next 15 years on the IoT projects in the railway industry,
according to Cisco. This is expensive because extremely old infrastructure will need to be replaced
with cutting edge technologies. The new IoT technology will be able to allow for more productivity
and a safer ride.

resource for people who are ready to stop fighting and be comfortable, but it still does not provide the

Right to die laws are state mandated in only four states: Oregon, California, Washington, and Vermont.
State mandated means that if a person meets the requirements to exercise their right to die, and he can
