2. Survey Monkey
The helpfulness of using Survey Monkey helped me convey my peers responses and opinions to my work
helped me understand any improvements.
For instance my first questions I was given a percentage as to whether my pitch was poor (0%) or good
(100%). The final result of 80% made me boost my confidence in pitching my work to a small audience; in this
my peers.
3. Survey Monkey
My second question consisted of suggesting any improvements that would have made my pitch better. The
examples shown from my peers, for instance “Try to example the information more clearly” helped me
understand that I should slow down and talk in more depth about what I am presenting to my audience.
Another example such as “Some points were unprofessional” made me understand I should have referred
more to my script rather than improvising which led to misleading my point(s).
4. Survey Monkey
The first question was to ask my peers for their opinions on which magazine they preferred more than the
other.
With my overall chosen magazine: RockStars, my fellow peers agree with my final idea because of the way I
presented and explained in my pitch why I preferred this magazine more than my other magazine “TeenRule”.
5. Survey Monkey
For my question four, I asked my peers on which magazine they preferred more; TeensRule or RockStars.
The results shown below present that half my peers preferred the magazine TeensRule and the other half
preferred RockStars.
In the next slide, I asked why did they prefer their chosen magazine more than the other.
6. Survey Monkey
Examples such as “Relates more to my lifestyle”, “The front cover is more professional with the different
conventions. And also the main image is excellent using a prop of a match”
Though it was difficult to understand my peers chosen magazine, the feedback was helpful in the identification
of which magazine they chosen in the previous question. Overall, the responses I received from my peers was
that the first half of responses preferred TeensRule and the other half preferred RockStars as of the way they
explained their opinion.
7. ● I altered the width of the
masthead which made it stand
out more to my target audience
● I also moved my main image
slightly more towards the centre
of the magazine.
● I positioned and resized the
main headline and the pull quote
underneath to make a it a bit
more readable and clear.
● Then I moved the barcode,
price, web address and social
medias more towards the left
side of the magazine, which
presents more of the main image
● Finally, I changed the Supreme
logo by making the drop shadow
more opaque and give a better
effect to the logo.

9. Corrections to DPS
Overall, I really like how the magazine suits the genre of hip-hop, and that the colour scheme is very complimentary.
What I changed with my double page spread was that I decided to change the main image/ background into black and white
leaving the candle flame in colour.
I also, added the letter ‘T’ behind the text, this made the magazine stand out more, as well as present quite a simplistic and unique
style.

10. What I decided to change with my dps, what to
change the “Pull quote” and simplify it more,
therefore, I went for a black text and removed the
rectangular background.
I also added a drop shadow to one of my main
image and placed it more the red border to present
more a 3D/pop effect.

11. I also decided to improve the double page spread
further, as such by replacing my second main image
and wrap my interview text around the main image as
well as alter the positioning of my main into two
different sections: Headline and strapline.
I also decided to change the pull quote into something
more simplistic alongside, quite eye-catching.

13. What I decided to do with
this back page, was that i
wanted it to be more out
there; therefore I went onto
a different approach to
present the men’s fashion
advertisement
I copied the image twice,
and changed the opacity of
each, then selected the
image and painted it in a
different colour with a light
opacity; I also, spread the
image out a bit more.
Finally, I changed the drop
shadow effect of the ‘YSL’
logo which made the logo
pop out more.

15. Conclusion
To conclude Unit 30 and this LO, my understanding as to how helpful my given feedback was to me; in the
corrections to my front cover, double page spread and back page advertisement I was able to alter the
presentation to look more professional and visually appealing to my aimed target audience.
As a result, this LO was conventional to me in the analysis/ evaluation of my Photoshop work and the
presentation in my pitch, which I completed in Unit 13 and Unit 14, the combination and analysis of all my work
in each Unit and in each LO was to convey my understanding in work.
