The document provides an evaluation of the student's fashion production process project. It discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the student's research, planning, and time management. It also covers the technical and aesthetic qualities of the designs, how they appeal to the target audience, and feedback from peers. The student conducted surveys and interviews for research but did not fully utilize the results. Their planning allowed ideas to be tested but they took on more than they could complete. Peer feedback suggested making more designs, incorporating the logo more, and offering a wider variety of products and colors, which the student agreed with.
3. Research
• Doing research helped to give me inspiration for my own product and the
type of style and aesthetic I wanted for my brand.
• The strengths of my research were that I had clear results for my survey
this made it easy to see what most people wanted from the products.
• The interviews helped me to hear what people wanted in more detail so
that they could give me completely new ideas and not just picking from
ideas I had already thought of.
• The weakness of my research was that I didn’t put my survey to use much
because the answers people gave me didn’t really fit with what I wanted
to make.
• I could have given more options on the survey and asked better questions
in the interview to make my research better.
4. Planning
• The strengths of my planning was that I gave me chance to see if certain
ideas where possible and if I would have time to create what I wanted to
realistically.
• Using a mood board helped to give me initial ideas of what my product
could look like before actually make them and them not looking good/not
working.
• The weaknesses of my planning was that I planned to make a whole
website and didn’t manage to have time to do that.
• I could have just planned to make t-shirts or hats and just stick to making
one certain selection of an item of clothing.
5. Time Management
• I feel like I didn’t manage my time very well as I planned on making an
entire website when realistically I just didn’t have time to design enough
cloths to set up a website.
• If I had more time I would have made hoodies and a wider range of
clothing instead of just shirts and a hat.
• I would have made the hats in more colours and also made versions of the
shirts in different colours to show what they would look like instead of just
saying that they come in certain colours.
• I would have chosen a range of different colours for each shirt to come in
so that there is colours to choose from instead again just saying that they
come in other colours.
6. Target Audience Appeal
• I didn’t manage to really show that the company wouldn’t effect the
environment but I did manage to explain that the elephant t-shirts profits
would go to helping animals/donated to a charity.
• I made my products available to both genders and all the cloths would
come in different sizes.
• I managed to keep the designs youthful by making products that me and
friends would buy.
7. Technical Qualities
The caps from this
company are when made
me decide to make hats
mainly snapbacks
because I think they
looked the best and
represented the
company the best.
I loved the skull ideas
where they had the skull
design without it being
gothic. I wanted to make a
product with some tie dye
so I thought it would look
cool to mix the 2 ideas
together.
I used the sort of geometric look in
this design like used in the triangle
that is incorporated into most of
there designs but I wanted to make
it look almost like a dream catcher.
I wanted the 2 O’s to be like the
triangle and have it on most of
the products but didn’t get
around to making a hat and t-
shirts with that idea.
There wasn’t any flannel
shirts in this picture but the
company does make them
and I wanted to make them as
they can be both smart and
casual.
8. Aesthetic Qualities
I liked the look of the image
going onto the back of the
shirt because they didn’t fit
very well onto just the front
of the shirt.
I only added colour to
one of the t-shirt
designs so that the
others could go with a
wider variety of
coloured shirts.
I should have incorporated
my company logo into my
shirt designs.
I made the shirt in one
other design using a
second flannel design
but figured that I could
have just advertised the
shirt then have other
patterns as options at
the side to save time.
I don’t like the sticker on the hat. It
was hard to show how I wanted it to
look on the angle it was on but I feel
now looking back that I would have
just preferred to just not have a
sticker on the front.
9. Audience Appeal
The designs are unisex
so anyone can buy no
matter what there
gender.
I tired to keep the colours
simple but also tried to make
sure they are still interesting.
The designs are modern
so they will appeal to
everyone. They are
similar to designs that
already exist.

• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• The fact that there isn't too many designs to

14. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
• That I could have made more designs in more of a wider variety of products e.g. hoodies shoes ect.
• I could have included my logo into my designs a lot more.
• I could have used more colours in some of my designs
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
• In some ways I feel I didn't’t need to use more colours in my designs because I wanted them to be quite black and white to
help them be suitable for any gender.
15. Peer Feedback Summary
I would change the amounts of colours I used in more shirts and made them in more
colours than just white. I also would have added a wider variety of clothing products such as
shoes and hoodies. Also I would have used/ incorporated my logo into my designs a lot
more than I did.
