season. The right-hander from Trenton started four games and went the distance in three of them, boasting a pair of
complete-game shutouts. She started her week by coming within one strike of Tarleton history as Withrow took a

swept a doubleheader against Southwestern Oklahoma. The freshman went 4-5 with three runs scored and 6 RBI in the
two game span. Two of her four hits were home runs and her slugging percentage for the doubleheader was 2.000.

She also made nine putouts and had a perfect fielding percentage at first base.
Lauren Lindgren, Midwestern State University, was a hitting machine in Midwestern State's series with 15th-ranked
West Texas A&M. The Denton native hit .750 on the weekend, going 6-for-8 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI.
In the series opener, Lindgren went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, matching a team-high in hits for the season, including
a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh. In the series finale with the Lady Buffs, the sophomore went 2-for-2 and
was hit-by-pitch. Additionally, Lindgren remained perfect in center field, playing her 25th-consecutive game without an
error on the season.
Tara Solomon, Texas Woman's University, helped TWU secure a 6-5 victory over fifth-ranked Angelo State Saturday
by supplying the Pioneers with a team-high two hits and an RBI. On the week, the sophomore tallied nine hits, four RBI,
and three stolen bases while hitting .563.
Tanna Huie, Tarleton State University, hit .500 for the TexAnns last week to lead Tarleton to seven wins in five days,
as well as the TexAnns' 12th consecutive win and second straight 30-win season. The junior outfielder recorded multi-hit
3. performances in four of the seven games, including a three-hit performance in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader
against St. Mary's. For the week, Huie had 10 hits, including five for extra bases, to go along with seven runs scored and
seven RBI. She also didn't strikeout a single time over the last seven games. Defensively, she boasted a 1.000 fielding
percentage in the outfield with 10 putouts and one assist, which came in the fifth inning of Friday's second game against
Western New Mexico when she connected with Elizabeth Svienty and Nyka Wood for a perfect relay to cut down a
Mustang runner at the plate to keep Tarleton's 8-0 shutout intact.
Ashley Hardin, West Texas A&M University, continued to lead the high-powered WT offense this past weekend as
the Flower Mound, Texas product lifted the No. 15 Lady Buffs to a series sweep at Midwestern State. The LSC's all-time
homerun leader hit .462 on the weekend with a double, triple and homerun to drive in six RBI with 12 total bases for a

first of four grand slams against TWU. She finished the weekend with a .417 average and fie hits. She scored twice and
drove in five RBIs. She had a .750 slugging percentage and drew a walk as well.
Erikka Burke, Eastern New Mexico University, registered a big week for the Greyhound softball team, which included
tying the team record with her 33rd career homer. Her record tying homer proved to be a big one, and provided the
winning margin in the top of the seventh of a 3-2 win over UT Permian Basin. Burke followed with a career-high four hits
in a 4-for-4 performance with a double in the series finale. She closed the week with a four-game hit streak and
homered in a mid-week game against Lubbock Christian.
Victoria Schoonard-Saborio, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, twice provided the Javelinas with dramatic home runs
over the weekend. On Saturday, her three-run blast took the Javelinas from two runs behind into the lead over No. 9
Commerce. In game two of that day's doubleheader, her two-run dinger with two outs in the seventh tied the game at
three. Of her four hits over the last week, three of them went for extra bases.
Shayne Starkey, West Texas A&M University, continued to roll this past weekend as the junior left-hander led the
No. 15 Lady Buffs to a series sweep at Midwestern State. The Denton product allowed a leadoff infield single in
Saturday's doubleheader opener then locked in and never looked back as the lefty walked just one and struck out three
while not allowing another hit in a complete game shutout of the Mustangs. The junior also hit .417 at the plate for the
Lady Buffs with a double and a homerun to drive in five RBI with nine total bases for a slugging percentage of .750."
Bethany Hines, Cameron University, was dominant in the circle for the Aggies this week in just a small sample size.
She pitched the second game of a doubleheader against Southwestern Oklahoma and went four innings while giving up
just two hits and no runs. The sophomore also struck out five batters and held the opposition to batting just .143 against
her. Hines was on track to pitch a gem of a game, but CU led 15-0 after four innings. Her eighth win of the season now
puts her at 33 for her career, which is good for fourth best on the CU all-time wins list.
Katie Dean, Texas A&M University-Commerce, had two good outings for the Lions in two wins against A&M-
Kingsville. She pitched 12.2 innings in two outings, holding hitters to a .244 average. She pitched six innings in the first
game of the series, giving up just four hits, holding the Javelinas without a hit in the first five innings. She then pitched
6.2 innings in the team's win in the third game, recording a strikeout.

season and held the team to a .200 average, the third-lowest total in 2018. Walker earned 14 strikeouts throughout
