PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
CO-HITTER
Mariah Jameyson, Texas A&M University-Commerce, SR, Catcher, Seattle, Wash., Hale HS
Against Texas Woman’s, Jameyson reached base in all 13 of her plate appearances. She had both a perfect 1.000 batting
average and on-base percentage with a 3.000 slugging percentage, hitting two home runs, an RBI single and 10 walks.
For the majority of the series, the Pioneers wanted nothing to do with Jameyson, intentionally walking her nine times.
During the few times she faced pitches, she made the defense pay. She hit a home run in the first game of the series,
breaking her own single-season school record for home runs. She also drew three walks. In the second game of the
series, she drew two more intentional walks while also hitting a three-run home run and an RBI single. In the final game
of the series, Jameyson was intentionally walked in all four of her plate appearances. The senior finished the regular
season as the conference leader in batting average, hits, RBIs, slugging percentage, walks and on-base percentage.

as she hit .750 with two doubles and four homeruns to drive in 10 RBI for an incredible slugging percentage of 1.917
with just two strikeouts for an on-base clip of .750. Hardin homered twice in Friday's opener followed by a perfect 4-for-
4 performance in Game 2 as she doubled twice to go along with her 8th career grand slam to set a new NCAA Division II
career record. Saturday's finale saw Hardin go deep again and score the winning run in fellow senior Kilee Halbert's first
career no-hitter. She now sits second all-time in Division II history with 82 career homeruns while ranking tied for third
in career RBI (263) and third in total bases (602).

all the way back. She finished the day with two home runs and seven RBI and for the week she hit .571 with four hits in
seven at-bats, along with two runs scored.
Victoria Schoonard-Saborio, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, batted .533 with a 1.400 slugging percentage while

the first time in eight years. She started the weekend by homering in each of the first two games in Silver City. In the
final two contests of the regular season the California native totaled five hits in eight at-bats. She drove in four runs with
a pair of doubles in the opener, a must-win game for the Javs, before adding another round-tripper and a triple to go
with three RBIs in the nightcap. Overall, she collected seven extra base hits, including three homers, and drove in 10
runs.
Jennifer McElroy, Eastern New Mexico University, in the second game of last weekend's series at #12 West Texas
A&M, batted 2-for-3 with a double and homerun. She also pitched for one inning in the contest.
Megan Rosewell, Tarleton State University, was spectacular in her final appearance at the Tarleton Softball Complex
as she threw 11.2 innings of shutout softball Saturday afternoon to cap off nearly two straight complete-game shutouts -
settling for one complete-game shutout and one combined shutout. The Saturday afternoon doubleheader versus UT
Permian Basin started with Haley Freyman getting the first out of the game on senior day in her swan song from the
circle, but then Tarleton turned to Rosewell and she was fantastic. She threw the final 4.2 innings in an 8-0 win. She
followed up with a complete-game shutout in the second game of the doubleheader. For the week, Rosewell tossed 11.2
scoreless innings while allowing nine hits and striking out five.
