3. Research
• Research helped me to plan a descriptive and professional review.
Researching existing products helped me to have a basic view on what it
takes to make a review and get tips on how to present a review.
• I thought that the existing products helped because I was able to look at
review and replicate it in my own review on my topic. Researching the
existing products is very time consuming and can waste a lot of time if you
do not have time to research the product, for insistent if you were doing
weekly reviews you would not have a big enough time frame to research a
good review and record it.
• I would have researched the reviews more thoroughly and been able to
get more tips and ways to improve my product. This would have made it
easier when recording the final review. This would have made the review
more professional.

4. Planning
• Planning helped me to decide what sound effects I will use in my final
review and help me to keep a record of what sound effects there will be,
this was very helpful as my final review was deleted and I could look back
and see exactly what sound effects to use speeding up my production, as I
didn’t need to find the new sound effects ensuring I kept to the deadlines.
• A weakness was that the schedule was very hard to keep as my work was
corrupted and I was behind on my schedule as I didn’t leave any space for
disruption in the schedule. If my schedule had room for faults I would have
been able to stick to it better. This resulted in an badly structured plan and
poorly organised recording which wasn’t beneficial to the review.
• This would have made my review seem rushed as I didn’t have the full
amount of time to edit my review and make it as good as possible.

5. Time Management
• I thought I managed my time well as I kept to all the deadlines and was
able to produce detailed amounts of work with the time I had. Even
though I completed my project on time I think I could have improved my
review if I had additional time as I didn’t use the time producing my
review to it full potential as I and to rush the production to keep up with
my schedule.
• If I had more time to work on my project I would have made my review
more detailed and added in more content about the game and more
sound effects to make the review less tedious and it would have made the
review seem more professional with more in game sounds and being able
to talk about the sounds being displayed in the review.

6. Technical Qualities
• The review on the game skyrim is a good review to compare as they're
both about games that have been remastered and the reviewer talks
about the new features and how the game has been improved.
• There are new features in the game skyrim are that there has been
moderations included so that there are endless different ways to play the
game. This is similar to the modern warfare remaster as the game has new
features such as the depot feature which opens up endless ways to
customise your gun/character.
• The difference is that the skyrim has clips in the review which mine
doesn’t. I would have liked to add clips into the review but I didn’t have
time so I couldn’t, this would have appealed to the audience more as the
content detail

7. Aural Qualities
• I think that my work is of a good quality as it is clear of what the game is about and
shows the new features in the game very well. I think I could have improved my
review by adding in some in-game audio footage to give the listeners an insight of
what sounds will be heard and talk about how to have ‘the perfect game’
• The weakness in the review is that there is no variation in the review it is all just
speaking about the game, this can cause the review to become tedious and not
finish the review meaning the review Is not a success.
• I think that the speech in the review is very formal and easy to understand, it is
spoken clearly and very descriptive, the language used in the review appealed to
older viewers as they would be able to understand the use of vocabulary and be
able enjoy a well spoken review on a game.
• I like the introduction music as it is an easy but effective way to open up the
review, It also gives the review a professional effect. this would appeal to the
audience because the listener will think that the review is well detailed and full of
good content.

8. Audience Appeal
• I appealed to my audience as the listeners will be from the ages 18-35
meaning that the audience will be able to focus on the review without
getting bored as adults tend to have a better attention span than teenagers
and they need less variety of sound effects in the review as most adults just
want to hear the content in the review.
• The introduction music at the start would appeal to my secondary audience
teenagers as they would be listening to the review because a parent might
have bought the game for them and they would want to find out about the
game so that they can be better on the game.
• The dialogue would be appealing my audience as I give my own personal
opinion which gives the audience a view from a person that has experience
in the game and has a vast knowledge of the game so they will be able to
tell if the game is good, this is good as they can make a good decision when
purchasing the game so that they don’t make mistakes.

– I agree with my peer feedback as I think that I do need
to improve the variety in the review and that the
introduction music fits with review really well to open
it professionally

is all accurate and I would have improved it if had
more time.

14. Peer Feedback Summary
I would have improved the variety in the review as it obvious that it is a
big fault in the review and with more sound effect it could be a success
and seem more professional, the sound effect would have brought more
viewers in as the people that are watching it recreationally will have
something to enjoy by listening to the different sounds and also getting
good amounts of tips and detail on the game.
The people listening to the game purely for information of the game it is
a good review and they will not be distracted from the sound effects but
other viewers will see the review as boring which will result in not as
many viewers as possible and the review will not be used to its full
potential.
