This document summarizes an evaluation of a podcast production project. It covers the strengths of the researcher's research process, the benefits of planning, effective time management, a comparison of the podcast to similar ones, feedback on technical and aural qualities, audience appeal, and peer feedback. The peer feedback praised the intro music, clear instructions, but suggested speaking slower, adding more game content, and adjusting audio levels. The producer agreed they needed to speak louder, add more game information, and reduce stuttering.
3. Research
The strengths of my research is that I was able to get my podcast
similar to that of the different D&D podcasts on YouTube. With my
research I was able to make my podcast better with my research.
Because of this I was able to make my podcast at a faster rate.
4. Planning
Because of planning I was able to make my podcast a lot easier
with planning. I was also able to save time in making my podcast
and this allows me spending more time on improving my podcast
for example I was able to add music to my podcast.
5. Time Management
I used my time well when making my Podcast. For example when making my
Podcast I set myself deadlines so I can get parts of my Podcast done. But
because of this I finished my Podcast ahead of time which allowed me to go
back and improve my work which helped make it better than it originally
would have been if I didn't have the extra time to improve it.
6. Technical Qualities
Similarity's
They both are about D&D
Both have music
Differences
One of the podcasts is about how to play the
game while the other is about actually playing
the game.
7. Aural Qualities
I am happy with how my
work sounds. I also think that
it is a good podcast to tell
people about D&D. I think the
strengths are the music I used
as well as the script.
I think the main weakness of
my work was the quality of
the audio I used.
8. Audience Appeal
I have appealed to my target audience by adding in the elements of
fantasy theme, such as the music. Which helped me appeal to my target
audience. Which was kids and teens.
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– Music fits in well with the theme of what you’re talking about.
– Works well as a tutorial with basic aspects of the game
– Words are said clearly and easy to understand
– Opening music creates hype for the podcast that gets listeners
excited!
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
– Speak a lot slower to make it seem like a lot more content
– More information on the game would have been nice, was
lacking in some content. This made the podcast feel short.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I like how the music progresses the way it goes up in pitch
in the middle and goes down in pitch at the end.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Maybe change the volume at the start because it starts off
quite and suddenly gets lowed.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I really liked that you included an intro theme and also that you lowered the
volume of the background track throughout which made it more entertaining.
– I also really like how clear and instructive your voice was throughout which
was great.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– I really wish the voice levels were louder so it was easier to hear you and the
intro scene music if that was louder that would be great also.
– Id also revise your script as you did stutter at places but it wasn’t a massive
problem
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
I agree that I needed to make my voice louder as well as I also need to add a
little more information about the game. I also agree that I stuttered to much
when speaking.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
I agree with all my feedback.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
I would make speak louder as well as I would also add a little more
information about the game. I also need to not stuttered to much when
speaking.
