3. Research
• Research firmly helped me present my topic on my podcast more easily
oppose to if I hadn’t researched as much as is I did. Also research helped
me learn a lot of things about the title race such as statistics.
• The weaknesses were that it used up time that I could have used on my
production.
• I could have been more efficient with my research if I would have
managed my time better. This would have made my product much better
because I would have had more information to give to the podcast on the
title race of the premier league.
4. Planning
• A strength of planning was that you have a half or certain idea of what you are
going to do for the production, which is good because you can always just look
back to the plan on PowerPoint to refresh your memory if you need to remember
something and/or brainstorm. This is good because you can improve your product
drastically.
• The weakness of planning is that it uses up time and also you don’t always need to
plan something.
• Planning usually makes a product more sustainable in production because you
have more of an idea of what you want to do.
• I could have been more constructive in my planning if I had more time and if I was
more focus.
5. Time Management
• Time management can be fundamental and crucial for a great product
hence when you have more time to do something, you usually have extra
time where you can add more features, which cause the product to be
better then if you didn’t have extra time.
• I didn’t fully complete my work on time, which was probably due to the
fact that I tried to record the podcast multiple times but failed to, as I
didn’t record them properly which cost me over an hour.
• The fact the I didn’t hand in my work on time wasn’t just due to
misfortune since I could have certainly managed my time much more
efficiently making me hand-in my work on so it wasn’t just due to that.
• Certainly if I had more time I would have made my product better since I
would have had more time to add things.
6. Technical Qualities
Harry’s Football PodcastJoe Rogan Experience
My podcast isn’t as explicit as Joe Rogan’s since I don’t swear on mine. Also Joe’s is both a
video and audio podcast oppose to mine which is simply just an audio. On the Joe Rogan
podcast they are talking about martial art and on mine we are talk about a different sport
which is football. Also Joe’s podcast is recorded in a studio and mine is with a small
microphone in a corridor and because of this Jo’s podcast is much better quality. Lastly, a
big difference between the two is that Joe’s podcast is live and mine is pre recorded and
edited.
The type of audio is similar since they are both podcasts. Also it is similar in the respect of
they are both discussing a sport. Also they are both informal.
7. Aural Qualities
• My work sounded pretty good and is certainly listenable, which is good. However
it wasn’t nearly as smooth as professional as other podcast, since they have
studios designed to suit a podcast and I just had a microphone so it was harder to
record sometimes. For the instalments I had, I think that I did a good job of
creating my podcast.
• My product was certainly creative, however it could have been made more
creative if I had just my time more efficiently.
• I like the music fading in and out because it sounded very good.
8. Audience Appeal
I have appealed to my target audience by making the topic about football which is a
very interesting topic, which the majority of people are both informed and
interested about in some way, especially with the younger generation. The way the
music fades in and out of the podcast is very interesting and will definitely make the
audience very interested in the podcast. Since my podcast is 16+ I think that my
product will be very much suitable because football is popular with that age.
The music used in my podcast appeals to my audience because it a style in which
the audience will enjoy.

• What improvements could have been made to
the product?

13. Peer Feedback Summary

feedback?
– I agree with increasing length of podcast
– Increasing quality of podcast
– People talking about how they liked the music
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– More professionalism because I think that would have made the podcast
worse.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
One of the main changes that I would apply judging from my feedback would be to
increase the length of my podcast hence it was very short for a podcast and people
want to listen to something with more time in it.
I also, based upon feedback will would need to enhance quality and smoothen editing
because the podcast that I had made wasn’t as aesthetically pleasing as I could have
potentially produce since it had frequent cuts, that were noticeable, and the audio
quality wasn’t good because I wasn’t recording it on a very high quality microphone,
there was music in the background and also some people sounded louder then others
because they were slightly further from the microphone, resulting is the slight down
fall in quality that could be avoided and solved, using a variety of techniques.
I would also add more music and sound effects, to keep the listeners interested in the
discussion and to emphasis what I might be saying, at times. Another thing that I
would do to change the podcast to make it better would be to keep on track and try to
fill as much information in to as little time as I could, without making it too complex,
so that the podcast has consistency in terms of information so that the listener won’t
be able to get off the podcast because it changes the topic and doesn’t drag on too
much and get boring.
