2. Photoshop
By using a digital camera I could make sure that my picture was a suitable size for my
magazine, and I was able to use a variation of different camera angles and shot types. Whilst
using the camera, I also got the chance to use a light to help improve the quality of my
photos.
Camera
During this process I learnt to use Photoshop for the first time. I had never used this software
before so it was fun to learn how to use it. At first I found it very difficult but eventually I got
used to it and developed my skills for adding a masthead, cover lines and editing the image
on the magazine.
Emaze and Prezi
I used this software to create presentations for my work. They are online, and use different
layouts which makes them look more professional and interesting than powerpoint.
Moblie Phone
I used my mobile phone to take pictures for my location recce, and uploaded them to the
computer using a USB port.
3. PC
I used the PC to do all of my editing for my front cover and contents page, I also used it to do all
of my blog posts and PowerPoints. On the PC I used a lot of different software to improve the
presentation of my work.
Slideshare
Blogger
I used to blogger to upload all of my work and make it accessible. Here I uploaded pictures and
PowerPoints through other online software, and kept a production diary of everything that
happened in our Media lessons.
I used Slideshare to help upload all of my PowerPoints to blogger. You must put PowerPoints
through this software to make them accessible online.
