The document discusses the various technologies used by the student in their coursework. They used a digital video camera and tripod to record footage for their project. They edited footage using iMovie and Adobe Premiere. Microsoft programs like Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher were used to write reports and create drafts and final products. Online programs like Prezi and Popplet helped with planning. Survey Monkey and Padlet were used to collect audience feedback. Fireworks helped edit images. A range of technologies were also used to present the evaluation.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

2. Recording
During this coursework, I had to do a lot of filming and taking pictures for many different sections of this coursework. To do this I needed to use a
camera and other camera related equipment. I used a digital video camera which allowed me to record the shots and take any images I needed
and add affects to the images. It also allowed me to zoom in and out. Due to it being a digital camera, it allows me to record a lot of footage at
once and I can look at the footage immediately so I knew how good the shots are and to see if they to redo the shots. To make sure that my
footage I was recording was of good quality, I used a tripod. A tripod allows me to do a lot of things which include taking still and even shots and
it allows me to adjust the height of the camera and keeping it steady. This is a very effective piece of equipment as it improves the quality of the
shots. I used this technology more than once in my coursework, I used it in production skills when we did our preliminary tasks and in our final
productions.
I used a tripod in Planning and
Production to produce my trailer
and any other clips I needed.
I used a camera when producing my
trailer to record all the shots and
images I needed.
3. Microsoft Programmes
I used a variety of different Microsoft software during this coursework for a variety of different things. I used Microsoft Publisher
during the making and planning of my ancillary tasks. Publisher allows me making my final products and drafts on it with ease.
Microsoft Publisher is a very simple programme to use with a variety of different drawing and editing tools which allow me to
make the best ancillary products I can. I used this software mainly in planning and production and it helped me in planning to
make detailed drafts of what my final product will look like. I also used other Microsoft programmes like PowerPoint and Word.
Both of these pieces of software allow me to write up and present any findings and information I get in a clear and well presented
way. I used both of these software's throughout my coursework in every stage because it is very simple and easy to present to the
audience. Both these software's must be uploaded to my blog using a website called slide share which makes an embed code to
put on my blog. I used this throughout the whole of my coursework as well and must be used if I used both PowerPoint and Word.
Here I used Publisher in Production
to make my final poster.
Here I used Word in Genre Research to do my content analysis. Here I used PowerPoint in my Evaluation to answer question 4.
4. Online Software's
I used a variety of online software such Prezi and Popplet during my coursework. Both of these software's are free to use and are
are incredibly easy to use as well. I used Prezi and Popplet mainly during my planning stage as it allowed me to show my planning
in an affective and clear way. Prezi is like PowerPoint but online and you can get templates which you base your work around.
Popplet allows you to make big spider diagrams where you can include images, videos, text and much more. During planning, I
used both of these software's to affectively show what I was going to do in my production but I also used it in my audience
research and genre research to show my findings.
Here I used Popplet in Planning to
effectively show the conventions in my
trailer.
Here I used Prezi in Planning to show the locations of
which my trailer will take place.
5. Questionnaires
During every section of my coursework, but mainly audience and genre research, I had to do a lot of questionnaires and findings
from people and my target market group. I used survey monkey a lot because it is very simple to use and looks very professional.
It also collects all your results for each question and they are there for you to review. Survey Monkey is also good because you can
ask a lot of questions in the questionnaire. I used Survey Monkey to gather information from people at each stage of my
coursework. I also used Padlet, which is an online wall where people can post stuff and it will appear on your blog. I used this a lot
during my coursework to get feedback on certain elements of genre research and planning. I also used Animoto in my Audience
Research which allowed me to show what my audience like in a different way.
Here I used Survey Monkey in Production to get
feedback on my final poster.
Here I used Padlet in Planning to get feedback on
my Production Concepts.
6. Editing
During my coursework, I had to use a variety of editing software's to make certain elements better. I used Fireworks to edit images
and to remove background which was mainly used during production. This allowed me to remove any unnecessary background
from images and texts and improve images for my final products which overall would make my final products better. I also used
Adobe Premiere which allowed me to edit my final trailer to a high quality by adding text, affects, transitions and so much more. I
only used this during production to make my trailer. I also used iMovie during the planning and production skills to edit short
movies and clips together. I used it to edit my preliminary task together and also to make my animatic. All of these software's have
allowed me to make both my images and videos better quality.
Here I used Fireworks in my Production to delete the background
on my fonts which I used on my final ancillary products.
Here I used iMovie in Planning to make
my Animatic which shows what my trailer
will be like using my storyboard.
Here I used Adobe Premier in Production
Skills to do some test edits so I could
learn the basic
7. Evaluation
During the evaluation I have used a variety of different technologies to present it. I have used technologies such as PowerPoint,
Popplet, Survey Monkey, Videos and many more which allow me to point my point across in a affective and clear way. I have used
all of these because they are simple to use and they are really clear when they are presented. Overall I believe I have used a r range
of different technologies in my evaluation which clearly show you what my findings are.
