2. Think about what skills you had at the start of the course
compared to now. Focus on what you have improved.
Since my preliminary task I progressed a lot. I learned that Filming with a
tripod makes a better screen picture than just filming by hand. I also realized
that when I hit record 2 seconds early it makes it way easier to edit. I also
developed my use with the camera setting itself for example making sure we
use white balance so the colour gradient is consistent throughout the film.
I learned how to organize my footage by putting it in different folders, so it
makes it easier to find the right things to edit.

3. I also developed my editing skills by trying and working with different editing
programmes. At the end the media product was edited with IMovie because I had that
programme on my laptop which made it easier to edit in different location, like at
home or in a café. I taught myself how to make the title and how to insert the sound
effects in the movie product.

4. Are there any other skills you would like to develop in your future
to help you?
I would like to experiment with other editing programmes to developed my
editing skills a bit more and being able to use different programmes as good as
IMovie now. I also want to upgrade my facilities to give my products a better
quality than now.
Another thing I want to improve is the use of blogs and internet websites like
Prezi, Powtoon and PowerPoint. Also importing media files onto a blog is still
difficult.
I have used these programmes during my evaluation stages in collaboration with
others and on my own and find that it has improved my presentation style
however I feel I ran out of time to develop my skills further and that is something
I would like to work on.
