The student learned how to use several new technologies while constructing their music magazine product. They learned how to operate an HD camera and use different camera shots. Photoshop was used to create the magazine cover, and the student learned cropping techniques. Prezi was used for presentations, and provided animations and backgrounds. Quark was initially difficult but became easier to use for page layouts, helped by guides to prevent cropping errors. Overall the technologies were very useful and the student's favorite was Prezi for its presentation features.

2. HD Cameras
I had never before used a HD camera until I
began to produce my magazine. I had to learn
the function of the camera and how to use it.
I also learnt different camera shots throughout
the production whilst I took the pictures,
including mid shots, medium close ups, high
angle shots and low angle shots.

3. Photoshop
I used photoshop to product my front cover for
my music magazine
it was very useful and a good software that I
had unfortunately only used a couple of
times. Whilst constructing my product I learnt
different uses of photoshop such as how to
crop images by using the polygon tool.

4. Prezi
Prezi was a great online software that I used to present work
such as the production of my ‘final magazine front cover’ and
post in onto blogger.
It contained great animations to choose from and backgrounds
such as a map of the world, which makes the presentation more
enjoyable to read.
It was an easy software to use. And never had any faults or
delays when i used it therefore it was a reliable technology.

5. Quark
I had also never used this software before. To begin with I
struggled to use it as I wasn't familiar with the layout and the
function of the software. Soon it came easy to me and I was
able to create both my contents page and double page spread
using the software.
The boarderlines on the pages of the Quark software, helped
me to make my pages accurate and measurable, for example
keeping to the guides, meant nothing would get cropped out
such as the title of the magazine.

6. Conclusion
Throughout the construction of my magazine I enjoyed
using different technologies and computer software's
which I hadn't used before. They came in very useful and
certain important pages for example my contents page
would not of been able to be constructed if it wasn't for
these software's.
Overall my favourite software had to be Prezi. It was a
great presentational tool and was easy to get the hang
of. It had great animations and different backgrounds
that were fun to use.
