3. RESEARCH
When doing some research it helped me to create my music video
quite a bit because the original music video that I was re-
creating, was quite simple and basic. So when researching it gave
me some ideas to which I could use to help link to the lyrics
within the song and make it a little more interesting.
While researching there was some limitation which was some
sites used to help find certain effects and it was limited either
because of copyright issues or the website was unavailable.
Luckily I managed to find a range of effects that I have used
throughout my video on this one website. Which these effects are
free to download and use so I didn’t have to worry about
copyright issues.
However what I would do differently is look more at different
techniques and transitions, which would help improve my video a
bit and help to make it more interesting

4. PLANNING
When planning for my music video project it helped give me a rough
idea of what I wanted to do for my music video and what I wanted to
include. The good thing about the planning was that because I had an
idea I knew exactly what I wanted to include and do for my music video.
However when I was planning my music video, I was limited one of
them was time. I was struggling to finish my planning on time but
luckily I did. Another thing I was limited on was the equipment I wanted
to use for my music video and the people within it, this is because
people were free certain days and so it did make it harder to film.
However the one thing I would improve to help my planning is timing
and scheduling, what I want to do on certain days so that I would be
better prepared, before filming. This would also would have helped my
video improve because id have had more clips that would have been
filmed and I could have used more props to help the music video stand
out a bit more.

5. TIME MANAGEMENT
I think throughout this project I have managed my time
reasonable well, but there was a couple of sections where I
overrun a bit so that shortened he amount of time I had to
film things and edit the clips I took and to start forming the
music video.
However I have managed to finish my project on time and
everything has been completed on time. But what I would
maybe improve is try and complete my tasks a day or two
ahead so that I have enough time at the end to add or
change anything to help improve it in some way.
Also if I had more time to produce my work I would have
added more effects for my music video and I would have
filmed a bit more footage. To help improve the music video
in some way.

6. TECHNICAL QUALITIES -
CAMERA
When it came to filming I used my phone rather than a camera
so the quality of the footage and the size was a little different
to what it would be if I used a camera. But when exporting
some of the footage I did have to reduce some of them
because the size was a little too big. This can affect the quality
of the video if the size is reduced.
So when checking the footage I took from my phone I checked
to make sure the quality was reasonable and it was and I am
happy on how it turned out

7. TECHNICAL QUALITIES –
EDITING/POST
While editing my music video and putting everything together. I
tried to make the images go in time with certain lyrics of the
song. I did come across a few images that either over run or
where too short within the time. However I was able to sort out
all these little mistakes easily so that everything went at the
same pace and was all timed right.
At first it was quite difficult to sort out some of the mistakes
because I was still trying to figure out some of the thing on the
software premier pro. But after just testing things out I
managed to fix my mistakes easier than expected.

8. AESTHETIC QUALITIES
Overall I think as a first project my work looks
reasonable good. Yes I would improve it by adding
more footage and using a wide variety of effects
throughout the music video. Just to help make it
stand out a little more. The strengths within this
project is that some of the pictures link with some
of the lyrics and it sort of has a meaning behind it.
However the weaknesses within this project is that I
could have got more footage and included more
effects to help improve it.
Furthermore, I think as a first project it was quite
creative but I think if I was to do this again in the
future, I would get more clips and add more effects
and try and use new techniques to make it stand
out a little more.

9. AUDIENCE APPEALI think after viewing my music video I didn’t
really focus on a target audience because I was
too focused on making sure everything was
completed on time. But I think if I was to have a
target audience I think it would be aimed at
young teens to adults because of some of the
images of horses, woodlands and the ocean
used within the music video. However, within
the video I used things related to the horses
such as the barn etc. to try and say that
everything I use to work with such as the
horses, the barn etc has now gone in some way.
Overall I am happy with how the outcome is of
the first project, but if I had focused more on
the target audience I would have done things a
little different and add some improvements to
make it better.

 I like how the images describe the lyrics
 I also like how you have used different clips throughout
the video which makes it more entertaining

What did you like about the product?
 I like the sync and the connection of the photos and the
odd video to do with the loss in the music video.
 Its well constructed with video transitions as well as it
synced up everything on point I especially liked the flame
in the video
What improvements could have been made to the product?
 You could add video that focus more on the lyrics where
its not just a picture to give it more meaning like zooming
during the video
Overall enjoyable and very well done.

What did you like about the product?
 I liked the different colours and how the different
pictures changed and faded in and out of each other. It
made the video really interesting to watch.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
 Maybe could of put more of a variety of pictures in or
maybe even a few videos just to mix it up and make it
even more interesting than it already is.

SUMMARY
What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
I agree with the feedback of getting more shots this is
because it would improve the video in some way but also
it would look a little more interesting and show that I've
filmed a lot of the footage
What do you disagree with from your peer feedback?
I don’t really disagree with some of the feedback but I
think if I did film more footage to help improve it would
it just be too much for the type of song that ive used for
my music video.

SUMMARY
I think overall to help improve my video I would add a few
more footage so that it has a little more throughout the video
and add some effects using new techniques. To help make the
video stand out a little more.
Furthermore if I was to do this whole project again I would
focus of my target audience, complete the asks a day or two
ahead and get as much footage as possible to help improve
my music video. However as a first project I am happy with
the outcome.
