3. RESEARCH
In my research I looked at a lot of music videos and other
sorces that could help me. This was all good as it gave
me a really wide range of styles and techniques to use.
This is good as it allowed me to use a range in my final
product. However I feel with my resurche it really lacked
in the software I choose as as soon as I had found that
until it was too late. For this I should have made a more
secure back up plan incase anything like this happens
again.
4. PLANNING
My planning helped a lot with the flow and how I put all
my work together, It helped me put my research into my
final product and just brought a lot of it together.
However my planning was really badly timed which made
it a lot harder to work on as I struggled to find specific
thing to work on making me fall behind. This is definitely
something I need to work on and get better at in my
future projects.
5. TIME MANAGEMENT
For this project like I mentioned before my time
management was very poor and I deifnetly have to work
on it for futer projects. I got behind ion a lot of the work
and that just made it harder because I had work that I
needed to do while being set new work. I will need a
better plan to help me manage my time better and I will
make these clear plans for all my projects that are
coming up to ensure this doesn't’t happen again. But
even if I did have a good plan and set out my time well
due to the current circumstance's at the moment it made
it even harder. And I did need a few days extra to
complete all the work.

The first similarity is
the camera quality as

uses a lot of layering
and plays around a lot

a lot of layering and

a lot of rap videos they

there video so there is
several of them on
repeat at different

What went well?
In my music video I
think there is a lot of
stuff I could have made
better however there is
also a lot of stuff I did

was some of the edits

For stuff that didn’t go
well there is quite a few.
I didn’t really like the
way it went from no
edits to loads I think the
way I did it was good
however a more gradual
way would have looked
way more effective.
Some thing else that I
didn’t do so well is
because the song I
choose to do was so fast
it was hard to get the
edits and transitions as
smooth as I would have
liked. This makes this

If I was doing this project
again I would have spent a
lot longer on the editing
and got it to exactly what I
wanted it to look like not
just close to what I would
have liked it to look. I
would have also
experimented more with
different edits. Also

9. AUDIENCE APPEAL
I think that my final product was very close to what I planed for as it has a big
hippie vibe which fits well with the music. This was achieved by using a lot of
colors (this can be seen in the bottom left a clip from my project) as you can
see I used the hue tool a few time to get these distorted colors seen in quite a
few hippie music video. I also used animals with the opening scene being a
clip of a bird then flicking to Tyler playing the music on his guitar. I choose to
do this as in a lot of hippie stuff there is always animals. All these factors
really bring together the overall hippy vibe. However there is also a strong
rock side to the video aswell with the opening being of tyler playing the guitar
and another one of my mates on the drums this gives it a
good rock/ metal impression. Another way I
made it more apealling to the target audience is
having the whole video based around skating
this is good as all the people that are into rock/
hippie music will also be familiar with skating as
there are several other music videos in this

use of skating also bing potentially new viewers
