3. RESEARCH
My research was very helpful as I was able to know what music
videos tend to include such as, a different camera angle on
most beats. Also music videos also tend to include a lot of
different vibrant colours.
The weaknesses of the research was that the song I did for the
music video wasn’t the typical song with a bright and colourful
music video. The song has a deep meaning and it is portrayed
seriously.
4. PLANNING
• What were the strengths of your planning? How did your
planning help your product?
• What were the weaknesses of your planning? What could you
have done better/improve? What effect would this have had
on your product?
I planned quite well and I had an idea on what I had
wanted to do. Unfortunately I wasn’t as organised as I
would of liked to be and my timings for everything to be
filmed was not accurate nor realistic. Having a clear plan
did guide me, even if I had to go to plan B.
Again, the weaknesses of my planning were that they
were not realistic and I didn’t consider that people who
were featured in the video wouldn’t be available all day,
every day.
5. TIME MANAGEMENT
My time management was poor as I was trying to get as
much footage as possible, when I reviewed the footage I
wasn’t happy with it and then I deleted it as I was under
the illusion that I had a lot of time left.
I wanted to do many things for the music video but I
didn’t take into account that it would take a lot of time to
do. Although I am happy with the finished product, I
believe that I could of done more.
6. TECHNICAL QUALITIES -
CAMERA
I found using the camera quite easy as I have experience with a DSLR camera. I

7. TECHNICAL QUALITIES –
EDITING/POST
I found editing fun as I didn’t really know how to use Premier Pro, after learning
it with help from my tutor and other students class. I enjoyed editing with the so
that it was easy to use, it was also very effective.
I did struggle at first to use the software, it was very difficult to find out how to
for the video. Now I know how to use the software I can quickly edit different vid
things such as titles, change the colour and add audio/video effects.

9. AUDIENCE APPEAL
I would say that I haven’t appealed to my target audience
as my original plan was very different and that would of
appealed to the target audience.
My video has had a shift in the storyline which was quite
major but the music video still makes sense.
11. FEEDBACK 1
What did you like about the product?
I really liked the editing style with the pops of colours here and there,
and the fast jump cuts add a good effect to the video. I also like the
lighting in the darker video of the lip sync as I think it looks really
good and aesthetic.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
Maybe some more footage in the future, just in case anything goes
really wrong, but other than that I think its really good :)
12. FEEDBACK 2
What did you like about the product?
- I liked the story telling throughout the music video it
made it very enjoyable and easy watch, it did not get
boring at all. The editing on the music video is very, very
good and fits the music very well, the colour changes
and setting changes fit the music too. The lip-syncing is
very good, this is hard to make effective but they have
made it work very well.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
- Some shots were out of focus in the music video and
these could be fixed with a quick retake
13. FEEDBACK 3
What did you like about the product?
Really like the edits when Jodie was the only person in
the video on the white background including, colour
change, quick black dip transitions. The lip sink was near
perfect. Also the scenes with Jodie and Sam was very well
put together.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
The only thing I would say that wasn’t that good was
when you showed the salon the camera was a bit wobbly.
This could easily be changed with a re shoot using a
tripod. Other than that I would say it was a really well put
together film.
14. PEER FEEDBACK
SUMMARY
What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
I agree completely with everything that was said from the
feedback
What do you disagree with from your peer feedback?
I would not disagree with my feedback as everything that
was said was a valid point.
15. PEER FEEDBACK
SUMMARY
What changes would you make to your product based
upon your peer feedback and why?
I would make many changes to the product, such as,
-Being more organised.
-Filming a lot more footage.
-Make the story more relevant in the video.
-Change something's on Premier Pro.
