The game is full of different bright colours which makes the game more exciting for the
audience. It makes everything stand out and you can see what is the main focus in the
game. The candy you need to match is the same colour. All of the colours are different so it
makes it easier for the players to see what they need to match.
From this product you can see there is a target for the level which in this photo is 1900, you
win points by matching. The score of what you get is in the bottom right and you get a total
amount of moves to make the level harder.
There is background music in the game which is soft and cheery to match the game. Sound
effects are used when points are scored and when candy is matched.
The overall look of the game is all the colours match together and gives a clear view on
what the game is about.
This all appeals to the audience as bright colours makes the game more fun and exciting.
With the aim of the game being to score points it helps to appeal to the audience as it
makes the game more tense.

This is a different way the game using a different theme.
The feature of the background is the same as they have created a background for this level which
helps to give the theme of the game and set a scene for the game. This game suggests magic as
there is a castle in the background.
Bright colours are used for the gems this helps to show the different shapes and the ones you need
to match, it also helps to make the game more exciting and appeals more to the audience.
This game gets you to fill up the bar at the bottom, once you have you are able to move onto the
next level. There is a hint button also on this game to help the audience.
There is background music to the game which creates the magical theme and fits well with the rest
of the game. Sound effects are used when the gems are matched to tell the audience that they
have been awarded and that the bar is filling up. Having music and sound effects makes the game
more entertaining and enjoyable.
The overall look of the game shows you what the theme of the game is and the bright colours used
make it stand out and eye catching for the audience.
All of this will appeal to the audience as it is exciting and attention grabbing.

This layout of the game is different to the rest but the concept is the same.
They use the background as the top part of the game suggesting that this game is about bulls and
trying to match the symbols.
There isn’t many colours used in this game for the symbols. Three colours are used in the game
however none of the colours are the same so it makes it easier for the players to match them.
At the top of the game there is two goals to make sure you complete the level, in this one you
have to get a certain amount of purple and yellow to be able to move onto the next level.
The overall look of the game gives a good idea on how the game works and can tell the theme of
the game. There is also points gained for when a symbol is matched.
They use background music to the game as it makes it more exciting for the audience to play.
Sound effects are also used when a symbol is matched to let the audience know that they have
got a match and create an award for the audience.
All of this will appeal to the audience as it is eye catching and having to get the right amount of
matches makes the game more tense which makes it exciting for the audience.

With the game including fish it shows that the theme is under the sea so the background used for
the game is underwater which links with the overall theme. Not much colour is used as this is not
the main focus of the game.
Bright colours are used for the fish which is the matching part of the game this makes it obvious
to the audience what is needed to be done for the game. Having the bright colours it makes the
game more exciting.
A timer is used in this game which makes the game more intense and exciting as it gets the
players to try beat the timer. A target score is also shown at the side of the game which makes
the timer more tense as it makes the players want to get the target score in before they run out
of time. Stars are rewarded in the game this will appeal to the audience as it gives them a reward
throughout the game and makes them want to continue playing to get all 3 stars.
Background music is used in the game to make the game enjoyable but also catchy for the
audience. Sound effects are also used when the correct coloured fish are matched.
The overall look of the game is colourful and fun for the audience and I think having a timer and
target score will appeal to the audience also as it makes it exciting and tense.

– They are all the same style of game as these are the games I have based my
game off. They all use bright colours and include some sort of challenge to
make the game more exciting for the audience. Another thing they have in
common is they all use the background music and sound effects they are all
different themes but include the same features.

your on work?
– I will include bright colours in my work as I think it makes it eye catching for
the audience.
– A challenge I will also include in my game as it makes it more challenging and
tense when the audience is playing.
