2. Mind Map
Idea 1
Idea 2
Idea 3
The genre of my video
game is going to be
Christmas themed.
The target audience is
aimed at anyone over
the age of 3. This is
the idea of Santa flying
through the sky getting
people excited for
Christmas. My target
audience will find this
entertaining.
My second idea is
also Christmas
themed but is a
different idea of
game, it still
includes Santa but
shows him going
down the chimney
showing Santa
differently
throughout the
game.
The third idea is Christmas themed also, but has a different look and game overall,
it doesn’t include Santa. It includes the theme I am having and will fit with my
target audience also making it a good final idea.
3. Mind Map
My final products is going to
be Christmas themed and
include many different
Christmassy things to show
immediately what the game
is about
The target audience is
aimed for everyone from
3+ as it will have a large
range of people who will
wanted to play the game
and be interested in it.
It will be set on a night so
the setting of the game
will be the night sky, with
stars and a moon. Houses
will be included in the
game to suggest it is
Christmas eve.
The game is going to be Santa
with his reindeers in the sky,
the houses with chimneys will
come across and then presents
will be dropped from the sky
and down through into the
houses.
There will be
sound effects
included as the
present drops
and when it is
going down the
chimney, this
will make the
game more
entertaining and
fun the play
There will be a certain
amount of presents that
need to be delivered to
complete the game they all
have to be delivered.
Having it as a Christmas theme
will get many peoples attention
as it is one of the most exciting
times of the year so people will
enjoy the game all year round.
The colour scheme of
the game will be lots of
colours but in different
sections so the sky will
stick to blue and white
and then the presents
and the houses will be
colourful to make the
game bright and fun and
Christmassy.
5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
All my images are Christmas themed so all the photos are linked with
Christmas.
The repeated colours are Red and Green as these are the main colours
that are linked with Christmas.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My final product is going to be linked with Christmas so having my
mood board filled with Christmassy images will help to give ideas and
help to create different images throughout the game.
It will also help with a colour scheme and festivity to use in my game
to make it clear what the game is going to be about
