2. Existing Product
Jetpack Joyride has some similar aspects with the
game that I’m planning produce. In my game I want
include the coins where it will allow the player to buy
life when he dies so he could be able to continue to
play after he lost the three lives. The game will be
landscape and the character will be moving to
different places collecting the items and coins. I’m also
planning to use this exclamation mark so that the
player be able to know that something is coming. In
this game it seems that the character is inside a
spaceship, I could also include this idea in my final
product where the game could start inside the
spaceship and then outside. This game has plenty of
details in the background, the graphs makes the game
interesting to play. When collecting the coins, also
when the jetpack is on and off it has sound effects
which I think is a fundamental thing where make the
game interesting and different because it doesn’t have
a background sound. The audience might want to play
this game because of the graphs and also because it is
a quite simple game where the player just need to
scape the hazard to continue to play.
3. Existing Product
In this existing game they used bright colours all
over the game. I think this is interesting because
you are able to see all the details on it. The game
is all in portrait; you only can see the back of the
character and the obstacles, this makes the
audience feel connected with the game. In my
product I want to include a statistic bar to help
the audience know the score and how many coins
they have collected along the level. In this game it
starts to get harder and the character starts to
run faster. They also have special items, I might
use this idea on my final product. The main event
in this game is not to get caught by the security
guard, but when the player gets caught, it shows
the score and the coins earned and gives the
option to play another round and try again. The
audience might be interesting in playing this
game because it is entertaining, also they have
uploads where changes the city and the whole
background.
4. Existing Product
I found this game which give me an idea of
how to create the background, it has loads of
details which I want to achieve in my final
game. In this game they used dark colours
which I think is quite interesting because it
doesn’t need much detail in the props or on
the background. In this game has some sound
effects when the character jumps or use some
special power to jump between the platforms.
They also have a background sound which are
not loud but it still in there, sometimes the
music in the background could be distractive.
The audience might be interested in playing
this game because it is simple and doesn’t have
complicated missions to complete. The player
just need to try beat his own score and collect
the coins. I think the start page in this game is
quite interesting because the colours match
with the entire game.
5. Existing Product
The graphics in this game are simple which
is quite attractive to the audience, they
might be interested on playing because it is
funny. It has different levels where you
need to find the door to pass to the next
level and the player need to collect the
little arrow in all scenarios. The sound
effects are quite the same that we all
expect to see in these game types. They
have jumping effects, door opening and
closing effects, collecting. They also have a
enthusiastic music in the background which
is quite nice. The thing that I found more
interesting on this game is the start menu
where have all doors, I think this made the
game unique and different from other
games.
