10. 1964__1965: IBM360 by IBM Inc was introduced.
1965: PDP-8 was introduced. It was the 1st
computer which successfully made use of IC chips
which were much cheaper and smaller. It only has
4096 words of memory.
1966: HP-2115 with this invention HEWLETT
PACKARD entered in the computer business.
11. 1969:UNIX introduced multi-user
operating system which was able to
perform multi tasks.
1970:GUI(pronounced as GOOEY)
designed by XEROX corporation. POINT
and CLICK, and IMAGE icons idea was
introduced.
