2. Process
• For the production experiments,
we had to do a fishing magazine.
• I decided to get a picture of a man
holding a fish, then got a picture
of the sea for the background.
• I added a masthead, subheading,
plug and main image.
• I changed different colours, sizes
and font types.
• I used Photoshop for this.

3. Inspiration
For my experiments, I was
inspired by the layout of
this magazine cover. With
how it has writing on the
left, and the person on the
right, and more writing on
the bottom.
Also similar colour-
schemes.

4. More Experiments
I decided to try replicating this Half
Life magazine for my second part of
the experiments. I did this to learn
about making a video game
magazine, as well as try to improve
at designing a magazine cover in
general.

5. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
- Maybe try a similar layout.
- Try to use a similar colour scheme.
- Try using the skills I learnt while making this
magazine cover.
