1. Production Reflection

2. Process • The first thing I did was try
and pick a background for
this magazine cover.
• The colour’s I was not sure
to pick were pale pink, pale
blue and pale purple.
• My first thought was to pick
one now and get it over
with but I then chose to
leave them and pick one
when I have everything else
on the cover.

3. Process • The next thing I needed
to do is the main title for
this I went and found the
main title and it’s logo
with it and using the lasso
tool I separated them so I
could place the logo in
the top right and the
writing in the left.
• Also I added a colour
overlay to the title to hide
some of the pixel’s that it
showed.

4. Process • The next thing I
did was choose
five character’s
from a different
game made by the
company, I choose
these character’s
at random. I chose
them from these
different games
was because of
the difference in
art style’s.

5. Process • I wanted to
choose a shape to
announce
something on the
magazine cover
like you see on
most magazine’s
no matter what
the age. I chose
those colour’s
because it suited
the theme I had
for the magazine.

6. Process • My next task was
to get headshot’s
of the three
starter character’s
of the new game
and it’s title, and
then place it on
the star I made
earlier.

7. Process • Next up was I
picked another
character from
a different
game to use up
some space and
have text over
him and beside
him.

8. Process • This is all the
text that is on
the cover, it is
all in the same
font but in
different
colour’s and
slightly
different sizes.

9. Process • And finally I came
back to pick which
back ground I
wanted in the end
I decided to go
with the purple
one because it
suited all the other
item’s and text
better than the
other ones I
wanted to use.

10. Process • Since I finished it I started
having second thoughts so
I went back looked at it
and thought about it, like
what I could change and
so I started making
changes to the cover like
making images bigger
changing the text and
some colour’s. for the text
it started to not fit with
what I want to do so I
have to change it to a
better font and possible
change the colour’s too.

11. Process This is what came out of
the changes I made to the
magazine the font, places
of images, the sizes, and
effects all changed in some
shape or form and some
colour change aswell all to
make this magazine.

12. Process • For this I had to
get all six
images ready o
a Photoshop A4
document.

13. Process • When that was
done I made a
colour outline
for the mane’s
ad the body’s
along with the
eye’s and gave
them all
different
colour’s.

14. Process • Then I went
onto the eye’s
and changed
the colour too.

15. Process • After all that I
went along the
bodies and filled
them in in the
same sort of
colour the
outline o the
bodies were.

16. Process • Finally after all
that was done I
did the same to
the mane’s.

17. Process • For this rotoscope
I had to get a good
head-shoulder
shot of a person in
this cause Felix
(pewdepie). First I
started with some
of the outlines
fo0r the ear’s,
eye’s, shirt’s, and
lips. And tried to
do as many as I
could.

18. Process • Then after that
all was done I
then zoomed in
on his eye’s and
filled them in
with the white,
blue and black
and gave him
some tiny eye
lashes.

19. Process • When I got that
out of the way I
went on to fill in
one of his shirts,
his lips and the
button’s on his
shirt and tried
to fill it in as
best I could.

20. Process • The next thing I
did was fill in his
other shirt the
best I could and
looked over the
image and filled
in any gap’s I
had left out.

21. Process • When I finished
looking it over I
moved onto his
hair actually
only his facial
hair and eye
brow’s and
made the colour
similar to that of
his normal hair.

22. Process • After that I filled
in his skin, neck
and hair and
went around
adding or filling
in any gap’s

23. Process • When
everything was
done I then
made in his haif
some high lights
and even lighter
highlights in his
hair to make the
image that more
real looking.

24. Process • For this image I
had to get four
of my
colourisation
images and put
them in all four
corner’s so it
looked like this
and then went
to add the black
line around all
of them to give
it a border
affect.

25. Process • Next thing was I
made four copies
of each image,
and used filter
gallery to pick a
effect for the first
image. And I did
the same thing for
the other three.
