2. Process
• The first step in making my fishing magazine was too
choose an appropriate background for the image I was
going to choose and fitting the theme and genre.
3. Step 2
• The second step I took was in choosing my main image
I liked, then using the lasso tool cut around it allowing
it to merge with my already chosen background.
4. Step 3
• I then started making the title using two separate text boxes
allowing me too choose a smaller gap between them, then adding a
third underneath for the sub title. Too make the title more eye-
catching I chose to add the stroke effect.
5. Step 4
• I then added a preview above the title of the magazine
making it two different tones of the yellow.
6. Step 5
• The next step I added the main story of the magazine using
the text box but this time making the text far bigger and
different colors so its easy too read and is eye-catching.
7. Step 6
• Then too fill up dead space at the bottom I
added some plugs
8. Step 7
• Before adding the last touches I made an expert
advice box using rectangles and the merge tool
9. Step 8
• For the final part off the magazine I added a barcode
and an exclusive bar in the top left hand side of the
page I made it out of the rounded rectangle tool.
10. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I am going to use the same sort of layout as
this magazine especially with the title, I also
like the way this magazine has used the
brackets as a new design idea.
• I also want to use a colour scheme like this
with 2 tones it switches between several
times.
