This document outlines the pre-production planning for a podcast, including sound effects, music, props, locations, contingency planning, health and safety, and a schedule. Sound effects include talking, wind, and explosions from free sound libraries. A jingle will be made in BeepBox for the intro/outro. Recording will take place with two friends in a quiet studio. Potential issues addressed are file corruption, low batteries, noise interference, lack of content ideas, and volume balance. A week-long schedule is outlined for scripting, recording, adding sound effects and audio in Premiere Pro, and final evaluation.

5. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Files and photoshop or
PremeirePro work gets lost or corrupted.
Try save and back it up as many times as I
can. Also make sure to save Photoshop and
PremeirePro work as the right files.
Devices recording the audio might run out of
battery.
Check the battery and make sure it is fully
charged.
It is too noisy when trying to record audio. Make sure to record audio in a quiet studio
area.
I may not know what to say, like if I am
doing a podcast or radio show.
I will think of things to talk about that interest
me, make notes, and write a script of what I
would want to say.
My voice, or background music and sounds
might get way too loud, when compared to
other parts of the production.
Check volume control on each part of the
product, and try keep it balanced.
6. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
A drink getting spilt on a computer. Do not have any drinks around the computers.
