The image is an animated
gameplay shot of a semi-bird’s
eye view of Link in the Legend of
Zelda game series, this shot
depicts Link in front of what
looks like a dungeon/temple, the
scenery seems harmless in this
shot as there are natural and
bright colours and a cute chicken
showing no danger or hostility,
where as the out of place
dungeon appears dark,
threatening and mysterious
mood to it. The Character central
to the screen is shown as the
hero as he is dressed brightly
and doesn’t not appear hostile
but only seems to mean to
defend himself shown by the
shield which represent
protection and heroism.

The gameplay shot shows a calm
and colourful to make it as child-
friendly as possible and to keep
them interested in the colours the
shot is at a similar angle to the
previous game/slide and depicts
similar gameplay in terms of
movement

Final fantasy is similar to my
product in terms of my desire
to use monsters and an
ominous and a chilling
medieval atmosphere
through background and
character design, to take the
log bars into account though
I will not them per say as I
will be using a basic combat
system consisting of tapping
a button and swiping your
weapon in game as appose
to cutting to a “battle scene”.
I will use a pixel font for my
own counters and general
text.

– My research shared game mechanics such as
movement and colour scheme (excluding the last), as
well as character design and exploration elements
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your own work?
– I will use colour schemes from all as they are useful to
my dungeon adventure in and out of the dungeons
themselves, with both the natural and medieval
underground areas and also the game mechanics of
the first two research products.
