7. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Eye Strain Sit properly with your eye in line with the top of
the screen and take frequent breaks without
looking at too many screens.
Back Ache Sit properly with your eye in line with the top of
the screen with your back parallel to the back of
the chair and use your arms on the keyboard
and mouse in a T-Rex like fashion as not to
stretch to far causing difficulty and in time,
pain.
Tripping over bags when standing up Make sure all bags are secured correctly under
your desk or in a locker.
Electric Shock when using or moving wires be extremely
careful that they are correctly plugged in or
correctly placed before turning or switching
them.
