Installation, Commissioning, Material and equipment specifications, P&ID development, project coordination and

Work Background:
PMT – Project Management Team (Operator):
• Assist for preparation of scope of works for FEED ITB/ITT package, basis of design Mechanical & Piping, and
supervision through conceptual designs to full and complete Engineering packages.
• Review and supervise technical requisition packages prepared by EPC contractor for purchase of equipment and
materials, technical bid evaluation and technical supervision after award of order.
• Supervise Mechanical / Piping scope under EPC contractor and to provide technical support to construction
activities and all aspects of the development construction.
• Liaise and assist with commissioning activities, prepare technical documentation as required.
Construction & Installation:
• Strong ability to supervise all discipline for all Mechanical / Rotating Equipment works such as Pumps,
Compressors, Vessel, Air Coolers, Compressor, Air Claus Blowers and Steam Turbines and Piping Systems.
• Piping works such as Piping Fabrication, Mechanical Equipment and Piping Erection and Installation, Line
checking / Punch listing, Tie-In and Pre-Commissioning activities.
• Capable of managing effectively various assignment
• Knowledge of principles and practices of related discipline.
• Skilled in coordinating efforts with others crafts function.
• Strong ability to cope and interact at all level with the client; consultant; vendors and contractors.
• Job duties include planning, scheduling and providing work direction for all work required.
• Abilities to lead small or large engineering projects from pre design stages to completion.
Commissioning background
1. Pre-commissioning:
• Preparation of pre functional check & punch list, developing in installation period and punch list closing for
commissioning handover.
• Supervise sub-contractor for hydro and pneumatic testing of pipe lines to ensure it meets the required pressure.
• Supervise and monitor the equipment for pigging and air blowing provide technical support to sub-contractor
about cleaning procedure.
• Conduct pipeline internal inspection with client by boroscoping for client witness approval.
• Vessels & Column internal cleaning and installation of blind spacer in the inlet and outlet.

• Rotating equipment functional tests, preparation of initial check out plan for electrical / Instrument loop &
continuity check in coordination with electrical and instrument departments etc.
2. Commissioning
• Preparation of pre functional check & punch list, developing an enhanced initial startup and system functional
check out plan, operational test procedures
• Pre-commissioning preparation activities water flushing, air-blowing, steam blowing, pigging, re-instatement,
tightness test, inerting, fire water, deluge system functional test, flare header in service
• Fuel oil & gas, air, & steam utilities in service
• Vessels & Column internal inspection & rotating equipment functional tests, preparation of initial check out plan
for electrical / Instrument loop & continuity check in coordination with electrical and instrument departments etc.
• Start Up Operation
• Before initial startup, check the instrumentation control shutdown logic sequences and interlocks, Establishing
cold circulation then hot circulation for Crude, Plat former unit, CCR, MDEA in sweetening unit, Glycol in
dehydration unit
• Establishing propane circulation and refrigeration unit, pressurization of unit with Nitrogen then startup gas,
controllers fine tuning, equipment’s performance test, tuning process units during plant operations with lab
analysis, unit records by adjusting parameters as per plant load
• Involved in well completion and acceptance testing, operations along with well completion crew before
wellhead Hook-up and commissioning
• Well Head Operation
• Wellhead oil & gas production control on wellhead choke valve or manifold
• Line –up flow line to test of Base Oil line loading from Jetty to Plant Tank Farm.
• Line-up flow line to Test Separators to check BSW content of new well & routine test
• Maintain right amount of Chemical Emulsifier injection for good water oil separation
• Injection of Glycol to gas lines to prevent hydrate formation
• Inject corrosion inhibitors to prevent corrosion formation
• Gas lifts injection operation to the depleted wells
• Maintain Gas compression (Dresser- Rand) or driven by Ruston gas Turbine
Gas lift by injecting Natural gas to increase the oil production (To enhance the oil Recovery)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Piping and Mechanical Engineer providing erection/construction planning and engineering execution that supports
contractors/subcontractors on field line management and supervision; Coordinate multidiscipline engineering interaction
and interfaces particularly Electrical/Instrumentation, Civil/Structural, Material Management, Project Engineering, and
Process activities to be certain on timely completion of engineering deliverables, and ensure documentation are in
accordance with contract, and specifications; Manage Piping Project interfaces with other projects and facilities, and
liaise with Operations representatives to ensure requirements are taken into account during project execution; Ensure that
construction is performed in accordance with the Piping FEED specifications and/or approved variations that meets
project contractual, statutory and regularly requirements; Carry out activities associated with Piping construction, pre-
commissioning and commissioning of facilities (e.g. preparation of construction drawing/documents, site construction
and installation, hook-up, pre-start up audits, as-built drawings); Provide proposal inputs and conceptual Piping design
and participate in the preparation of tender documents for EPIC contracts; Direct supervision and motivate the Piping
project team members whilst ensuring that the control procedures are in operation and reporting functions are
established; Stand as a focal point for all communications with the client, and represent the company in all matters during
project execution; Ensure Piping project scope implementation and effective construction management up to project hand
over to the client; Monitor performances of Piping skilled personnel Productivity, and Quality to ensure the achievement

of Project Completion Schedule (PCS) on time; Carry out Facilities Engineering activities relating to a project's
multidisciplinary nature, including discipline and inter-discipline review of design deliverables, participation in
HAZOP/HAZID, and design reviews; Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members,

monitoring/tracking of materials/equipment usage and reconciliation during and after project execution; Knowledge with
International Codes and practices (API, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, BS, etc.); Provide computer controlled program on
progress and reports that suites on client requirement; Planning for daily, weekly, and monthly activities at the same time
monitoring by providing Data and S-Curve for progress report measurement basing on over all construction plan;
Execution and Control for the mobilization of required materials and equipment for the planned activities; To provide/co-
ordinate responses to Contractors Technical Queries during project conceptual and detail design phases; Initiation of
corrective actions of Site Queries required for anticipated construction delinquent delays; Monitor and ensure adherence
to the quality system for the construction team, including proper handling and maintaining QA/QC documentation in
close cooperation with the QA/QC department; Coordination with QC and Planning inspectors for timely performance of
quality inspection and planning monitoring for the updated resolution of progress measurement.
