Position Summary:
Reporting to Major project Manager, this position is offshore rotation basis
and focused in the construction and installation projects in major project group
in gulf of Thailand in the facilities of Chevron. CAR is the focal point assigned
to the construction vessel/barge to ensure contractor perform the work
according to company requirement. Previous experience in the
offshore/subsea industry is necessary, with the understanding of all offshore
constructions.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure that all offshore installation, hook-up and pre-commissioning
activities undertaken on Contractor’s offshore vessels are conducted
safely, efficiently and reliably according to Company specifications and
requirements.
• Supervise all facets of the installation and pre-commissioning activities
to ensure that safety, schedule, commercial and technical requirements
are met.
• Monitor installation planning/progress, troubleshoot, provide
daily/weekly report and propose mitigations actions when necessary.
• Ensure that contractual HES requirements are met or exceeded
Company OE HES expectations.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Assigned as Project Engineer to execute project and up gradation work
at Metrochem Baroda, India:
Huntsman Textile Effect was in the acquisition of Metrochem Dyes Industry
and was investing for plant development and EH&S up gradation of the site.
Projects initiated were: State of the art nano-filtration building, tall form spray
dryer with 2000 kg evaporation capacity, evaporators and blenders as well as
various EHS related projects. The project came to a halt in May 2008 and was
postponed for one year. Spray dryer and RO were completed and full in
operation at that time.

green field. Scope: A complete new facility for blending and packing of
6000 MT of reactive dyes consisting of 2 warehouses, 2 Nauta powder mixers
with 10 m3
capacity with partially automated FP 60 packing streets and
complete infrastructure.
“ANURAK” Project: State of the art investment project of 120 million
baht building a new wastewater treatment plant using MBR technologies. The
ETP plant can daily treat 800 m3
/day of reactive dyes waste water achieving
a COD limit of ,180 ppm. Most of the equipment was import from over sea
(MBR, Decanter, Oxygen transfer) and used local contractor for installation.

• Developing the technical scope starting from the management idea to a
term of reference that will give the start of a project.

developing the suitable technical solution, making the correct cost

The main objective was to introduce the new range of sunrise dyes in
Thailand. All reactors and the complete infrastructure in synthesis plant got
replaced, civil structures completely overhauled. Spray drier in Finishing
replaced or overhauled with the help of Comp Engineering based in Pune,
India. Equipment was mainly imported from oversea (Spray dryer, Reverse
osmosis, etc.) and are installed with international standard.

Project Engineer (contract) PROJECT EXPERIENCE: Assigned as Project Engineer to execute project and up gradation work at Metrochem Baroda, India: Huntsman Textile Effect was in the acquisition of Metrochem Dyes Industry and was investing for plant development and EH&S up gradation of the site. Projects initiated were: State of the art nano-filtration building, tall form spray dryer with 2000 kg evaporation capacity, evaporators and blenders as well as various EHS related projects. The project came to a halt in May 2008 and was postponed for one year. Spray dryer and RO were completed and full in operation at that time. Scope: A complete new facility for blending and packing of 6000 MT of reactive dyes consisting of 2 warehouses, 2 Nauta powder mixers with 10 m3 capacity with partially automated FP 60 packing streets and complete infrastructure. “ANURAK” Project: State of the art investment project of 120 million baht building a new wastewater treatment plant using MBR technologies. The ETP plant can daily treat 800 m3 /day of reactive dyes waste water achieving a COD limit of ,180 ppm. Most of the equipment was import from over sea (MBR, Decanter, Oxygen transfer) and used local contractor for installation.
