AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Project Management & Co-ordination:
• Preparation of the Planning & working Schedules for the project and issue to the
respective contractor during kick off meeting to comply the standards of the project
and to meet the completion targets.
• Detailed study of drawings and Preparation of the BOQ / MTO list from the drawings,
and to raise the purchase order as per the Spec requirement.
• Handling of the FIM materials and to prepare the inspections to the supplied materials
from Clients, & Preservation control as per the standards and safe storage.
• To follow up closely with the Engineering Designs & to prepare the shop drawings and
modified drawings to issue for the client approvals.
• Preparation of the Technical Queries and to execute the necessary information and
suggestion to the clients for the approvals.
• Preparation of technical issues in drawings and clashes & remedies on sites and to co-
ordinate with respective trades and personnel’s.
• Preparation of DCF / IOC with JCF during the site clashes with other trades and submit
the Variation orders to clients for approvals and issue Site instruction to respective
trade contractors to expedite the work in changes at site.

3. • Preparation of Safe Work Procedures, Method statements & Risk assessment as per the
site activities and E.I.T equipment installations.
• Attending the Daily site safety co-ordination meetings and Weekly progress meetings
and updating the status for the planning.
• Conducting the trainings for the typical installation and Prepare the Mock up on site
for ease installation and request the clients for pre-inspection.
• Clearing the site issues and guiding the contractor to implement the quality and safety
at work and expedite the working activities.
• Attending the site walk though and inspections with clients and updating & clearing
the comments of the clients (punch lists).
• Preparation of the ITR’s (Inspection Test Reports) and MCR’s (Mechanical
Completion Reports) Form’s.
• Preparing the work done status report, and submit to the QS Dept.
• Preparing the claim forms and submission to clients for approval on monthly basis.
• Preparing the Variation forms and attach the required proof of reworks and get the
client approval followed by preparing the Variation Order Claim forms as per agreed
terms & conditions
• Preparation for the installations of the Electrical Equipment’s, Instrument Devices &
Telecom devices, following the specifications and standards of the clients.
• Preparation for the installations of Mechanical & ventilation fans and Motor Control
Units / Panels followed by inspections with client and authority standards.
• Installation of the Cable containment like cable ladders, cable tray / trunk and conduit
works with standard installation procedure, followed by the cable pulling, cable
dressing with glanding & terminations.
Responsible for all final inspections and clearing of the punch list & coordinating for the commissioning
with Clients and Service Engg.
Project Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Quantity Survey / QMS:
 Project Quality Control :
• Responsible to closely work with Engineering design department to prepare the clash
free shop drawings before the issuance of the drawings to the working team / Awarded
contractor.
• Maintaining quality standards for installation of E.I.T supports as per the designed
drawings followed daily Patrol Inspection & final inspection before handing over to
other activities to takes place.
• Responsible for in-house material testing and its components functionality.
• Handling of inspection at Installation of Cable Ladder, Cable Tray /Trunk, Conduits &
Cabling works.
• Followed by inspecting the Cable glanding & terminations with COMP EX knowledge
where required.
• Responsible for installation inspection of HV panels, LV panels, Instrument panels,
Wall mounted Junction Boxes, Field junction Boxes, Grounding Bars, Small power &
Lighting Distribution Panels, LV Panels, Instrument Panels, & HV transformers, LV
transformers, Earthing Transformers followed by ensuring stringent adherence to meet
the quality standards, norms & practices.
• Planning of cable routing to minimize the cable length and maintenance ease access.
• Preparations of the onsite shop drawings and submit for the client approvals and give
brief explanations for the given routing.
• Inspecting control circuit wiring and terminations at panel board & Field Devices to
bring forward the pre testing and commissioning schedule at concerned site.

4. • Witnessing of Hi-pot test of HV cables & Megger test of LV power cables and all
Instrument cables continuity tests.
• Inspecting of pulled internal cables with in the panel to panel and over all reviewing the
cable routing and dressing to meet the client requirements at the project.
• To conduct regular inspection of Cable tagging / labelling at MCT’s /panels.
• Ensuring that the testing equipment was calibrated and maintain the certificate log book.
• Overall project co-ordination with all trades like HVAC, ARCHETUECTURE, PIPING,
MECHANICAL and PAINTING for quality to develop standards.
• Responsible for preparation of sequence detail working and planning SCH for
inspections and to implement accordingly.
• Preparation of standard preservation procedure and implement on site with the installers
followed by timely inspection to monitor the site installed equipment conditions.
 Project Quality Assurance :
• Experience in handling the following :
• Proficient in understanding the construction & technical drawings, preparation of
Test Plans for the project according to client specs and requirement.
• Attending the KOM (Kick-Off Meeting), progress meetings and update clients on
project status.
• Prepare Inspection Test Plan and QA/QC Procedure for Project according to Client’s
requirements, Review QC documentation submissions by contractors.
• Target oriented set of mind to achieve the ZERO PUNCH LIST during final hand over
of the project.
• Ensuring Quality Management System in-process material, incoming and readymade
materials.
• Conducting the required trainings to the direct and in direct work force to make them
understand the project standards prior to start of the contract. Like Basic support fittings
installation and Cable ladder / tray installation, cable pulling and securing of cables,
Cable glanding & terminations and instrument tubing installations.
• Submitting Surveillance Report and preparing Non-conformance report, following up
the corrective action plans.
• Generating the Punch list and outstanding works list in order to push the construction
team to get the Quality output of the project in time.
• Regular site walks with the installation teams and advice the corrective quality
procedures.
• Update and follow up of project progress, schedule, safety and administrative
matters.
• Executing implementation of Control Plan through inspection activity & audit.
• Handling quality improvement it by implementing an online process control.
• Following the project specifications and quality requirements for E&I systems of the
company and other international standards such as DNV, ABS, LRS, IRS, NEMA, NEC
and IEEE in the actualization of the project.
• Providing support in problem and defect analysis in materials and production quality
related issues.
• Preparing Project Completion Certificate (PCOS).
 Project Quantity Survey :
• Preparation the scope of works and Schedule of rates and invites the contractors to
submit the Qualified and Valid Quotations for the project followed by review and
interviewing the contractor to know the standards to meet the project requirements.

5. • Involved in project budgeting like cost control, cash flow, cost planning, cost estimation,
cost analysis, pricing and negotiation.
• Controlling the project man hours vs duration of the project to keep healthy condition of
the project.
• Provide a brief notes to project team on commercial and contractual matters to feel the
responsible on the project costing and expenses.
• Responsible in monitoring, All the required project materials prior to purchase the M.R
(Material Requisition)to submit for cost approval and cost control
• Preparing the Monthly Progress claims and attach the required drawings and inspection
forms for the client to approve.
• Prepare and to submit the potential variation claims to client in regular intervals until the
job completion report has signed off by clients in every single case.
• Responsible to review and evaluate the contractors invoices are accurate and in
compliance with subcontractor terms and conditions.
• Ensuring proper closing out of the project accounts both with clients and contractors.
• Receiving and handling the contractors progress claims and consulting the in-charge
engineer personal to endorse the completed work activity.
• Regular site walks with contractor and site engineers to make sure that the quality
standard is high and no complaints from clients.
 Quality Management Systems
• Involved in achieving quality certification as per ISO standards as well as appraising the
status of system implementation.
• Handling the ISO audits internal and external as per the ISO 14001, 9001 & OSHAS
18001
• The development of document control, operational control, emergency preparedness, &
evaluation of compliance, non-conformance, corrective and preventive actions.
• To monitor the submitted drawings approval from client.
• To prepare the technical query as per the deviation from the drawings.
• To prepare and submit the project material specs and technical data for approvals.
• Developing a framework of quality standards procedures & systems and overseeing

the NCR within 24 Hrs time frame and submit the corrected action record to client for

Construction Material Approval documents of the contractor and making correct
decision to forward to Client or send back to construction with punch list.
• Conducting regular briefings and training session for all the work force / staff to keep
them update on ISO & OSHAS standards.
• Proposing the health and fitness activities and getting approve on the budget for the
event.
• Organizing the family day events and sports for all the direct work force and staff to
show the moral support from the management.
• Monitoring the activity at sites and review of project schedule, ensuring cost control
within budget, planning for cash flow requirements, etc.
