• Successfully implemented ERP for Flow cell business within targeted time as a part of Lean Project Its involved
standardization and codification of the items based on material description, geometrical dimension Owing, order costing,
budgeting can be done just with the click of mouse
• Standardsed the stocking policy so as to deliver the flow cells in shorter lead time which in turn increased in market share to
80% from 60% and increased the inventory turnover ratio. It involved a thorough review of the raw material consumption
pattern and defined stocking of the regularly consumed items Reducing the ideal lead time from 8 weeks to 4-6 weeks
• Awarded with High performance award for the year FY-13 & 14 due to successfully completing the onsite Customer Paint
Inspection activity for PreLUDE LNG project, executed for then end user SHELL. It involved detailed planning of various stage
inspection and co-ordinated with the Vendor, Technip Paint Inspector and SHELL TPIA (Bureau Veritas)

P R O J E C T S U N D E R T A K E N
Title: ‘Performance and Evaluation of Ice Plant’, Karjat
Description: Main aim of the project was to erect and evaluate the performance of miniature ice plant. This involved
thorough knowledge of Vapour Compression Refrigeration Cycle Ice plants were used for the commercial
manufacturing of ice as it consumed fewer amounts of Primary refrigerants such as R-12, R-11 and R-22 and so
on. This reduced overall cost of refrigeration. The Challenge faced was to provide a suitable Stirring mechanism to
bring about uniform cooling of secondary refrigerant (i e brine)
Learning: Team work and understanding the actual process of refrigeration cycle we managed to produce 5 kg of ice with
COP of 3.39
Title: ‘Productivity Enhancement of Buffers’, Asangaon
Description: The aim of the project was to increase the productivity of buffers to meet the sudden boom of customer
requirements. In order to attain this, the raw material requirement & coordinating it with the sourcing team,
machining vendor to speed up the machine activity, was developed. The raw material & stocks of tubes, fillers
and rods was Increased for that purpose & planned out the detailed schedule of execution of the projects and
provided daily updates of the projects to overseas clients.
Learning: Optimum utilization of available resourses, Planning and Effective communication
Title: ’Pre-LUDE LNG Project Coating Inspection’, Vasai
Description: A Prelude LNG project of 8 Flow meter housing body was too coated as per the stringent SHELL paint
specification. There were 2 Inspectors (SHELL & Technip) present for the description of the specific requirements
pertaining to surface preparation. The ‘coating’ was planned at vendor’s site in Vasai. There were many non-
conformance reported from inspectors in relation to various safety regulations for personnel safety of the shop.
The challenge was to close all the NCs and upgrade the workshop at par with required specifications
Learning: Importance of Coating in Marine and Offshore condition Health and safety requirements for carrying out the
Surface preparation and coating activity and effective planning
