WORK EXPERIENCE
 Internship from The Leela Ambience Gurgaon (6 Months, 2010)
 Worked in every department of the hotel, as a part of my 6 months industry exposure, and
was awarded as the “Best Industrial Trainee”, for the summer batch 2010.
 Management Trainee – Operations, Hotel Leela Venture Limited (2012-2014)
Front Office:-
 Handling Guest Services for internal and external Calls, also setting telephone verbiage for
the property.
 Ensuring guest requests are met for arrivals of day.
 Preparing concierge reports (Daily movement sheet).
 One point contact as a concierge for city information.
 Organizing city tours for guests and upselling evening sunset boat rides.
 Shift allocation for boat men, Chauffeur and door man.
 Resolving guest related queries.
 Ensuring Every Arrival for day is done an In-room-check-in.
 Shift end procedure of Cash close, registration card auditing.
Food and beverage:-
 Shadow manager for All Day Dining Restaurant.

 Blocking VVIP arrivals of day and ensuring preference are placed before arrival.
 Blocking arrivals for the day and co-ordinating with housekeeping for timely cleaning of
room’s in-order for smooth in-room-check-in process.
 Daily auditing of internal and external telephone calls in respect to telephone standards.
 Maintaining balance of room allocation.
 Handling guest queries and always providing an alternative to guests.
 One point contact for any group movement in hotel.
 Implementing new procedures related to groups in order for smooth check-out procedure.
 Responsible for preparing group billings, and collecting payment at time of check-out
depending on contract.
 Ensuring group related requests are met and guests are satisfied.
 Processing reservations and responsible for amendment to group block once handover
from sales is done to front office.
 Daily auditing of group rates and daily billing.
 As Duty manager, responsible for shift end process like auditing registrations cards,
individual rates, making a record for guests related concerns and checking statutory
requirements of foreign nationals in accordance to Indian Government.
 Responsible for store requisition and weekly and monthly budget reports.
 Preparing Daily comparison report.
 Co-ordinating safety for all guests with housekeeping and Security.
